It's obviously been shipped, now it's just gathering dust in some warehouse or stock room. We get ****ed over by game delays all the time, it would be a pleasant surprise to get a game a week or two ahead once in awhile. I'm flameproof, so don't bother. I know the bean counters at EA & BioWare love their big release day sales #s, but why screw me in the process???

Oh, just wait. It's only one week (six days for me, as of 15 minutes ago), and that's not that long.

mom and pop stores break the street date, thats the only way they can compete with gamestop and other retailers ...

it sucks because the majority of us dont have mom and pop stores

If you guys read a lot of gaming news then you would have know that Gamestop ordered some of their stores to start selling MW2 a day earlier to compete with local mom and pop stores that were selling the game days before hand...

lol sucks doesn't it?

happens with ALL games and there will always be people complaining about how they didn't get the game first and how others got it a week earlier

Is that right.  I live in NC too, so I'll keep and eye out for it as well.  I work at Target, and I don't think we have it yet either.

1) logistics
2) contractual obligations
3) its been two years you can't wait a week.
4) Since this is the first actual announced launch date its still on time.
5) Gone gold and shipped are two entirely different things.

your impatience is astronomical.

sure, you can be exited for the game, but to be angry at EA and bioware for setting a release date....wth do you want? do you think release dates are to spite you? do you really think stores, developers, and publishers should just ignore any economic sense and allow sporadic on arrival sales just so you get a game a week early?

Yes I know all the reasons why I should be able to put up with a week wait, but I can't help wanting it now. I think it has more to do with how close it is at this point. In the early stages of waiting it's pretty damn easy to well, wait. Hell, I know I can wait another week, but damn it all I still want it now. As childish as that is :P.

How am I suggesting BioWare and EA should ignore economic sense by allowing all retailers to begin filling preorders as soon as the game comes in. Whether in one lump or gradually, EA & BioWare will get their sales and their millions.

OKAY GUYS heres the plan: we'll all meet up outside a gamestop, rocketman will bring bolt cutters and cut the door hinges, while rip504 keeps a look out and gets ready to drive as rip504 has the getaway mako. Meanwhile keltoris will use a blowtorch to get through the door to the storage in the back. Next rocketman will take ALL the mass effect 2 copies, CE and normal and well all run to rip504 and speed off in the mako, but not before we all use the blowtorch to write something witty on one of the walls.

Are you crazy? Gamestop has the heavies security in the galaxy, and that would be a suicide mission. You guys need to do like 50 sidequests first to level up, get enough gears, and have lots of sex, before you can do this.
