Is anybody else giving Bioware a last Chance with this?

Dragon Age 2, in comparison, was more like a total failure. But I have not given up on Bioware yet, though
CD Projekt Red is really really REALLY close to become my favorite game developer right now.
Anyone else feeling the same?

Anyway, I liked DA2 just fine. ME3 was a bit of a debacle, but I'm confident in Bioware for DAI; I don't feel like it's much of a last chance.

I liked SOME of the characters, did not like the Story at all. Let us not talk about the technical aspects, which I do not care about at all. To me, DA:O and Mass Effect 2 were the last 2 Perfect Bioware Games. Which, for me, says alot. Because I would call every Bioware game released before those 2 were Perfect also.

I do not play Witcher, as I prefer to have RPGs where I can design my own characters and am not stuck with someone unlikeable.PrussianBlue wrote...
But may I ask if you liked the Witcher 2? Thought that was great, felt a bit like Dragon Age: Origins to me.

Once more, if they keep writing great stories and creating great characters and creating interesting and fascinating lore oriented to the world introduced, they will always have my attention.

Or, you know, he could be referencing a shade of blue famously associated with the blue jackets of the Prussisn Army.
That's always a possibility.

You didn´t like Geralt? Always thought he was pretty cool. But it´s understandable that some people do not like being forced to play a certain character in an RPG. Sometimes it really takes part of the feeling to be part of a world.

Personally I loved DAII, though it wasn't without it's faults. ANd me3 as well, or 98% of it, anyway, I prefer focussing on that.
And everything shows that bioware took lessons from those, DAI will rock.

Yeah. Thing is, it´s not like I want Bioware to make a bad game. Thing is, I felt like their last 3 games weren´t on par in especially the aspects you just named, with what Bioware made in the past. Which are to me, some of the greatest games of all time. Dear God. Mass Effect 2 may be my favorite game of all time and I don´t even want to talk about Baldurs Gate.

This reeks of looking for something to be offended by.

And what´s with all the hate by the way? I was not bashing Bioware right here, just asking if anybody felt the same.
It's the Dragon Age part of the BSN where topics are constantly recycled. It just gets old.

No second chance or anything like that, I enjoy the games and I'll buy them because they're fun.

Geralt's not the worst character by any means, but I'm never happy when the game tries to force me into certain characteristics.PrussianBlue wrote...

In many ways, I feel DA2 did this in as many ways as TW2 did. Just with a gender selector and a facial generator.Xilizhra wrote...

Personal perspective and all that.
