Even if it might be out of character I'm really hoping the personality of the OGB isn't some creepy, all-knowing, power hungrey lunatic. I just think it would be better if his/her personality would not be like the kid from Insidious. Even if we just get a small glimpse of him/her I want a little reasuurance that the kid isn't evil or a jerk from birth. That there still is an ambiguous possibility for them.

What if he went back in time and became the Maker? Or something. There was a weird plot twist to that effect in the Witcher. Funny to think of a faulty Eluvian zapping him back in time whereupon he porks the prophet Andraste.

What if you didn't do the Dark Ritual. He wouldn't have any powers. He would be a normal kind ( as normal as a kid of Morrigan can be ). As much as I would like a Alvin / Jacques de Alderst moment, it wouldn' work.

I wonder if that wouldn't make him some kind of Merlin. He was an adept magic user with a dubious heritage with a nose for intrigue. That would make him the ideal grandson for Flemeth :alien:

Well, OP, I would like that.

Without the hero worship part, tho. Just that I would like to meet this kid, know that it's alright and see that it's pretty much a normal kid, w/intriguing power--but a good soul.

I would like that, but I'm not expecting much to that end, if anything. :(

That's what they did in the Witcher, but the kid went missing/back in time and became the primary antagonist.

The boy : "Grandma... can you teach me that dragon trick of yours ?!
Flemeth: " Now it's not the time child. "
The boy: " Pleeease... You never teach me anything."
Flemeth: " Go ask your mother. I'm sure that she has all the time in the world for you and your pesky, little wishes."
The boy: " But mommy doesn't know any magic. She can bareilly transform in an ugly spider."
Morrigan: "<_<"
The boy: " Please... please grandma. PLEEEEEAAAAAAASEEEEEE ! "
Flemeth: " Fine...only if you promise to eat all the templars. "
The boy: " Promise :D. "
Flemeth: " We'll start your training tomorrow. Now begone! I have more urgent matters to attend to. "
The boy: "Weeeee.I'm gonna be a dragon.I'm gonna burn the templars.FUUUUUUUHHH" (runs away to play)
Flemeth:"That boy...is very persistent."
Morrigan: "Just like his father.<_<"

Back on topic :

I'm almost certain that the boy would end up beeing a mage. It would be a big waste considering his family. Even if he doesn't end up an OGB, I think he will play a role in future games. Why make Morrigan pregnant no matter what we decide to do in game if you're not planning in using the kid in one way or another ?

She's not pregnant no matter what we do and if you and other people think otherwise then you have no clue what you're talking about.

The only 2 ways Morrigan has a baby is if you do the Dark Ritual or if you refuse to do the ritual are male and slept with at least one or more times over the course of the game full romance or just slept with her.

If you didn't do either then there's no baby at all which is confirmed btw.

I'm not sure why people think this way but if you refuse to the dr then there's no ogb, if you didn't romance or sleep with her then she's not pregnant no matter what we do sorry.

This the ultimate sacrifice, didn't romance or sleep with her ending which was one of my last playthroughs.

Morrigan leaves the party the night before the final battle when the Warden refuses her offer. She is later seen traveling through the Frostback Mountains alone. Several years later, tales out of Orlais said that a strange dark-haired mage had insinuated herself into the empress's court.

This is the ultimate sacrifice, romance and slept with her epilogue.

If The Warden was in a romance with her and refused to take part in the ritual, Morrigan is last seen traveling west through the Frostback Mountains, possibly with child, and it's been rumored she once was the lover of The Warden himself.

Now thats a family portrait I'd like to see!

Imagine Sexy Flemeth, Alistair and Morrigan.

The ogb will probably a rebellious teen to boot. Ah, a family that hates and wanna kill each other. Makes for a good plot.

Maybe she had her wicked way with Alistair instead.

Sigh I'm not sure I should take you seriously, the answer is no if you didn't sleep with her then there's no mention of her being pregnant in the epilogue slides or anywhere's else.
