Probably a waste of hard drive space on the server to even start a thread like this so close to launch, but just wondering what your opinions are on how the Paragon/Renegade system will work with your teammates.  For those who have played Dragon Age: Origins, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

Based on your impressions of some of the squadmates so far, what road do you think you'll have to take to gain their trust and loyalty?  For instance, in DAO, you essentially took a Paragon route with Lelianna and Alistair and others.  However, this often displeased Morrigan who appreciated a more Renegade approach.

Thoughts on squadmates so far like Grunt, Thane, Miranda,etc...?

(This of course assumes that it shares a similar system like DAO)

I dunno. I don't think it'll be based on that quite so much. Like Miranda seems she'd be impressed if Shepard just does his job efficiently and practically more than anything.

I'm hoping it's based more on your interactions with them, and the actions you make on their behalf, and less on what you do while they're in your squad.

I really liked Morrigan but damn she was a bitc*, Even the smallest of kind actions and she would rip you a new one, guh, just back off!

I hope the ME2 system is a bit more.... subtle than DA:O's was, I hated seeing the exact numbers for friendship/romance and that a simple present would regain their trust in you, how superficial. If it's how I hope, it will be very hard in ME2 to make sure you stay on ALL your squadmate's good side. I just want it to feel kind of inevitable in some circumstances that you'll have a falling out with certain characters. The more "wracking your brain" moments concerning squadmate loyalty the better I say.

My take on them all from our limited info:

Miranda: Morrigan of ME 2. Will probably berate you for every little altruistic thing you do, but can likely be reasoned with to lessen the impact on loyalty and eventually convince her.

Tali: Largely Paragon oriented.

Garrus: Perhaps what he prefers will depend on how you developed him in ME 1. Could go either way.

Samara: A mix of both, but because of her oath will perhaps not be as quick to judge so long as it doesn't go against her code.

SuZe:Another mix, though I think she'll surprise us a bit. Very violent and ready to charge into battle but, to seperate herself from Miranda, maybe a bit less Renegadish at least when it doesn't involve killing someone who pissed her off.

Mordin: Very Renegade. Looks at the big picture and only cares about what it takes to get things done.

Jacob:Although a member of Cerberus, I see him being more Paragon oriented. He needs to be to balance out Miranda a bit and simply seems a bit more laid back.

Grunt: So long as he gets to kill someone he'll be happy. I don't think Paragon or Renegade means much to him, but he'll probably find more enjoyment from the Renegade choices.

Thane: Despite being an assassin, he seems like he'd lean more towards the Paragon side of things. Pretty much Leliana if she were a hardened space-lizard dude, though hopefully less flowery and annoying.

Zaeed: Renegade more than likely. One doesn't get to being the most feared Bounty Hunter in the galaxy by showing compassion.

That's just a brief overview of my thoughts on them though. Hopefully it's much more complicated than "These characters always approve of only Paragon actions while these characters always approve of only Renegade actions." There should be some Renegade actions that the certain Paragonish characters are able to appreciate and vice-versa depending on their personal stories and how your relationship with them develops throughout the game.
