Where has this thing been all my gameplay?

No other gun can even compare to it.

OF course, due to weight, I use it on infiltrators.

But why do you need to worry about weight and cooldowns when you can stagger-lock everything giving you enough time to plan your next move?

I'd have to see the CD. I've run it on the slayer and just demolished everything. ULM, Clip, Damage Barrel, and Blade attachments are you're only possible mods. I run the ULM in place of the clip in most power spammers as I find the clip is not that necessary.

Gambler build DrellGuard with the Venom is the most fun setup in this game for me by far. Off host for extra living on the edge curse word filled tom foolery.

Honestly please don't get angry if I say this but I feel it is a scrub weapon for people who have no imagination to use proper weapons effectively.

^I never use ULM on Venom. Clip+Barrel for everything, that is not a melee build.

Every other weapon lacks imagination. Just point at enemy and shoot..same old same old.
Venom is the most fun weapon in the game..no other weapon even comes remotely close to it. If I don't use venom in a game, I feel bored by wave 5 or 6. 

Edit: I am not arguing here, just saying my opinion.
