Well it sounds like I need to give it another try. I just took it out a couple nights ago when I finally got it to X, and I had a hard time figuring it out.
Maybe I need to watch a video, or run with one of you guys once to get it.
I've been leaning too hard on the PPR Destroyer lately anyway.

I'd take the Venom over the Wraith anyday... Just because I hate the retire delay, the sound and I find it EXTREMELY boring/unsatisfying to use. I do acknowledge it is kind of an ultimate weapon though... It has no flaws.

Piranha is a better boss killer but Wraith is the ultimate all-rounder weapon, not the best at one particular thing but very good in all situations and all kits, no exceptions.

Last night I played with a guy who used the venom on the Saboteur, he totally dominated the scoreboard. Then he switched to a Havoc / wraith combo and then again he totally dominated the scoreboard ... so ...

Nope. Scorpion makes me wait in anticipation and foreplay is for teases. Venom will immediately cool the ****** of a rabid phantom.

Wraith has the best clicking rhythm out of anything.

No need to hold left click as you do for charge up or automatic weapons.

No need to tap frequently as with things like the saber, valiant, mattock.

No worry about scopes and hipfire penalty when not holding right click.

No finger strain due to excessive reload cancelling, as with one shot weapons like the claymore.

Definitely the most relaxing weapon to use.

Scorpion is better than Venom in the same way Recon Mine is better than Proximity Mine.

It only requires you to think a few seconds ahead. You don't have to be the Kwisatz Haderach.
