Yeah, that's because it fires slower than a Black Widow.

If you use a gun that does not fire at all, then it'd surely be the most relaxing weapon to use ever.

You can't put an omni blade on a black widow, and it comes with a noscope penalty.

Ok without smart choke it's (wraith) not useable at long range, but in medium/close range wraith doesn't require great aim - does enough damage with HVB and decent consumables/build that you only need to put the head area roughly in the large blue circle.

From a distance, the ADAS sounds like a late 90's hard techno track. Which is kinda cool, it brings back some childhood memories.

But nah, it's not as good as the Venom.

The venom is very good at dealing with most non boss enemies especially when there is a closely packed group of them, but its ability to obliterate these mook spawns can take away from the fun of the other players in the same way as regular old spawn nuking with missiles or cain mines at least in my opinion. The only times I've really used it since it was released were when I originally did the weapon sub-challenges for it and I took it for a spin once in the last week.

The only thing the ADAS does is make my ears bleed especially when someone is using it on a kit with rate of fire bonuses.

Dunno about that. For other players its a sound vs ground shake issue and which one they prefer. I think the Venom and Flamer combine beautifully on the irritant scale.

You have a right to your own opinion, personally however I find that it's actually the really good console players that tend to make good use of it, best understanding the stagger mechanic,firing mechanic, priming capabilities and damage than the less skilled players who tend to avoid it. I can see why it could be seen as sub-par on PC though given that aiming is undeniably easier to do (provided your accustomed to Mouse and Keyboard) and so pretty much every weapon gets an incredible boost to overall descency/awesomeness. Hell even the Mattock can be Platinum viable (well, even the Raptor is Platinum Viable, just not recommended... but you get my point). So they probably see the Venom as too slow a weapon unless they happen to find it as fun as it's common users do.

The Venom, to me, is awesome. Great primer, great stagger,  great mook killer and incredibly fun to use (dat hate surfing)

It's the only weapon of choice for the Turian Havoc. I rarely use it with other kits though. It works fine on Engineers like the Talon, the vanilla humans, the Saboturd, the Salarian and the Quarian Female, and that's about it really.

The Venom is overrated for sure, and it's annoying as heck when someone else is using it near you. It's Shockwave in a can.

This you need a widesweeping generalization that pisses off a huge group of people with small elements of truth to it.

If you like it so much then it is the best weapon FOR YOU. I personally cant kill anything with it because of the charge up time and the accuracy. If I had to choose between the Venom and the Katana I would go with the Katana because I can actually hit stuff with it.
The same goes for the Trip Mines , Sticky Grenades and other weapons / skills that are hard to use, but once you use them properly they become lethal in good hands.

You don't have to charge it. It hits hard and fires quickly when you treat it as a semi-automatic.

I know it is a good/top weapon, I've seen people masacre entire spawns with it, but charge up weapons and weapons that don't shoot directly where you aim are not to my liking.

It does good damage uncharged, but you are still missing its full potential. If you play with it on higher difficuties you have to charge it. I did my challenges with it, played on Plat with it and it's too hard to use, not enough fun factor for me.
