Well, I asked for 5 different opinions and I got 3 different answers. Google it. 5 should be the right answer and the question was correctly phrased or at least sufficiently.  I wasn't asking how many apples do you have right now, when you took 3 of them or have many are left on the table. I was asking for number of apples, regarldess where they are, either in your hands or on the table. 5 is correct answer, of course, because you started with 5 and you still have them, generally speaking.
But even, if you fail the test, you can still apply. Just drop the validation request or reply.

I never encountered any insane people in my lobby. Nobody screamed, yelled or offended me or my team.
Can you give me an example, what is insane for you?
I can guarantee, that  I won't pick (in)sane people.
But if I do, there is a kick sign, if someone squeezes through.
Psychological evalution will not be necessary.
Stupidity and sanity are two different things, but I agree, sometimes the edge is thin.

But with the question phrased with two "you" 's in the same sentence, without further qualifiers on the definitions of the two "you" 's, they have to be assumed to qualify as the same entity.

Therefore, when 'you' take 3 apples, 'you' will now have 3 apples in your possession. The 2 apples left on the table are not in the possession of 'you' (ie. how many do 'you' have)
