Am I the only person here who has played both Fallout 3 and Fallout NV for over 300 hours and experienced less than 10 game breaking bugs?
Hell, I've had to restart ME1 more times than FNV because of bugs. No lie.
I only experienced 1 game breaking bug while playing New Vegas. I might have experienced 1 while playing Fallout 3, but I can no longer remember it.
Playing Fallout: New Vegas is still a nightmare for me though. The game crashes every 15 or 30 minutes without warning.

Not sure what you mean exactly, given that the only thing I really said about it is that it's the worst game I myself have played, and, since you don't know all the games I did or didn't play, you can't really make much of a judgment on how significant a statement that is.IllusiveManJr wrote...

The worst game in the generation I've actually played would be Terminator: Salvation. I saw it for around $5, and thought I could get some easy achievements and cheap laughs out of it, so I got it.
It couldn't have been that bad... (Could it???)
I'd say it's just barely a 3/10 though, if that answers your question.

Any game based off a movie development cycle is going to end up becoming a disappointment for yourself, lmao.
But Disney games based on animations tend to be awesome (for kids).

If Lonesome Road is supposedly about "hopelessness, misery and agony," the developers shouldn't have built up the central character as a mysterious and powerful man who has a plan to reawaken America from it's slumber...and then reveal his 'plan' is nothing more than nuking everyone. And try to obscure it with utter mountains of quasi-intellectual nonsense dressed up as wisdom.
I expected so much more from a character who speaks of 'carrying' America while it sleeps.
Oh do shut up David.
You not liking something does not make it objectively bad, usually the opposite in fact.
You've got this odd idea about what good storytelling is and you are soooo utterly determined that it is the only way.
You talk about how heroes are lonely and all that bull**** and as soon as someone provides a counter example you make a strawman and argue against that.
You're terrible at debating, rude, inconsiderate, none to bright, and worst of all utterly unwilling to broaden your horizons.
You sir are an imbecile and I wash my hands of you.
Good day.

Nope, I found NV to be no where near as buggy as some would claim, and I'd agree with the ME1 comparison too. I can't even count the amount of times I've moved after closing the galaxy map only to become trapped in it.
A couple of freezes and a fair few times stuck in rocks that I probably shouldn't have been climbing in the first place is all I've ever found that could be called game breaking.

I didn't play it myself but after 15 years of waiting fans of the series were really hyped up about it, and then all that hype was soon followed by crushing disappointment and epic rage. Jim Sterling called it "the sh*tiest game of 2011."

Technically, there are worst games out there like Final Fantasy XIII, Ride to Hell and Duke Nukem Forever. What makes SCV objectively and subjectively bad was that everything it did wrong could have been easily avoided. But someone in development screwed up their priorities, resulting in one of the biggest disappointments of this generation and the worst game in the acclaimed Soul Series.
The game ticked me off so much that I made a five part review on deviantart explaining exactly why the game failed just to get it out of my system.
But for brevity, I'll give you the short summary:
The game was rushed out the door as admitted by it's director;
It's horrible story mode was incomplete again from the words of it's director and had multiple inconsistencies with the established canon of the series, not to mention the bad writing and poor execution;
Said-storyline which involved a very hate-worthy designated hero who goes from bad to worst and...way worse and is "rewarded" for his "heroism" with the most obvious, stupid, transparent and shark-jumping example of deus ex machina that I've ever seen since Avatar: The Last Airbender where a Lion-Turtle came out of nowhere and gave Aang the power to Energy-bend just before the final battle;
The gameplay was decent, but was needlessly complicated and geared more for hardcore competitive tournament gamers to the point of abandoning every other fan, not to mention selling out it's soul and unique identity;
Multiple characters had disappeared from the roster without explanation and took their combat styles with them;
Most of the new characters were rarely showcased and focus was placed on the least likable of the newbies that had screentime;
It pointlessly sacrificed character space to add in two half-assed mimic characters for a grand total of three mimic characters;
Two character slots were given to alternate versions of existing characters when they could've been merged into the same slot (Think Shiek/Zelda and Samus/Zero Suit Samus from Super Smash Bros) and the game was overall unrecognizable as a Soul Series game;
It has little to no offline content apart from character creator with highlights including the jarring absence of series' staples like an Art Gallery, Character Profiles, Character endings, Tutorial mode, Time Attack and a severe lack of non-aesthetic unlockables;
Yeah. The Soul Calibur Series was never perfect as some games had balancing issues and SCIV went a little far with the fanservice on it's female character's default oufits (Not as bad as DOA mind you), but...SCV has likely killed the series. That's how much of a disappointment it was to me and a lot of other fans.

The game threw consequences or talk of your actions in your face at every second as if other games haven't done this before when in reality most of your actions and consequences were illusionary. Asides from the Mass Effect 3 esque-style ending (i.e different image stills) you were treated to a few trivial consequences such as more weepers and more guards in a high chaos world.
The story was predictable and having a pre-determined character with their own name and background who actually has dialogue but is silent was ridiculous. I didn't care for Corvo. Daud on the other hand was a far better character.
For me the amazing parts of the game was the atmosphere. The world was brilliantly designed. Combat was solid and the numerous solutions to quests was exactly what I remembered Arkane for with Arx Fatalis. The game doesn't care if you kill your way through. You can still beat everything and it doesn't hold your hand asides from the toggable quest markers.
But for me it just doesn't match up to Deus Ex Human Revolution which I think has the superior stealth, combat, level design, quest solutions, atmosphere and protagonist. Dishonored has actually made me yearn for Thief and asides from the setting and magical abilities, it didn't really feel like it was its own game.
