I also found the the first Assassin's Creed is a bit repetitive and AC3 was a bit disappointing, mainly because I found the protagonist dull and I played it straight after AC2 which was a great game (as is AC4 which I thoroughly enjoyed).
I also found ES Oblivion hard to play on XBox. The combat felt like such hard work I gave up. Skyrim is so much better.

The more I post in this forum, the more it seems like I will be spoiled.

I'd put Spec Ops: The Line in this category. The burgeoning "Oh, you're playing this game? That means you suck as a person!" genre just doesn't do it for me. The game's distinct lack of subtlety ("John Konrad?" What could that possibly be a reference to?) didn't help matters either.
It´s a remake of "Heart of Darkness" after all. It´s an interesting view of how somebody could become considered a war criminal despite all his choices being reasonable at the moment of taking them.
On topic:
DA2 - wasn´t expecting much of the gameplay, but the plot sucking that much was a nasty surprise.
ME3 - because even if 90% of the game is great, retroactively ruining 3 games in the last 10 minutes makes it deserve to be here.
Gothic 3 - not that bad, but felt more like 3rd person view Elder Scrolls than Gothic. If they wanted to imitate that saga, at least they could have picked Morrowind.
Front Mission Evolved - how can you even make a game about giant robots fighting each other so pathetic?
Assassin´s Creed - the original. Starts OK, you go to the first mission all right, then the next is almost the same, and so on. Combat gets boring fast too, with Counterattack being OP to the extreme.

I agree about the combat, but greatly disagree on the climbing. I thought it was an fresh, more realistic take on platforming level design. AC2 had the combat down better, but felt less engaged with the story.Assassin's Creed makes my list too. The combat and climbing were a clunky mess. The sequel fixed that but dragged on too long for me and became boring.

I liked FO3 a hell of a lot more than New Vegas. The story was more interesting, the settings and locations were better, the companions were better, the DLC was better and the factions in NV were all terrible.
I had this same opinion until about a year and half ago, then I gave NV another chance, and I enjoyed it much more than 3.
I still have no full understanding of why that is.

I kind of laugh at anyone crying out ME3 was the biggest blunder of this generation. There are much worse things than a debatable disappointing ending.
Who says I'm just pointing out the ending? I didn't mind the ending, the game itself was the problem.
What happened? Your LI didn't get enough attention in ME3?

I actually thought AC2 did the story better and the missions were far more varied. That's my opinion. AC1 had the level design right but the mission design was repetitive. After AC2 I wasn't much interested in the series though. The ending was a joke IMO and I heard the later entries were practically using the same gameplay mechanics (to the point where they felt like expansions) and since I find AC lacking in replay value I gave up on the series.
The whole premise was great and revolutionary but they've not come up with much new since asides from the ship battles.

They introduced chain kills in close combat, so it´s no more countering all the time. Brotherhood it´s my favorite so far, I enjoy more Ezio´s life because I get most of the references. In AC III I´m most of the time wondering who those guys are, and it doesn´t help that Heytham seems to be a much better character than Connor.

Can anyone clarify me what is AC4 about? I have just figured out "being a pirate".
Well they killed the cow and now they have scientists trying to work out how to extract milk from its DNA and tissue (or something like that). Currently they are furiously milking the remaining substance from the dead corpse with two console AC titles planned for release next year.
Rumors have it that the guy doing the milking holds the world record for longest masturbation.

FO:NV is a runner up for taking a great game and releasing it in a completely unplayable state. I know these companys keep acting like releasing broken games should not matter in this day and age but it does.
