Seriously, go over there and look at it now, it's TERRIBLE. They've completely overhauled the comments system (it's horrible) AND you need a Google+ account to comment AND they've made so many more undesirable... Look... this is easier shown than explained, just go over there and see. I'll wait.

I know i have had the displeasure of using it. Only some comments can be replied too (same with likes) and it forced me to connect to that abomination that is google+ which removed my profile picture.

There is no text limit anymore which means that there are comments that take up entire pages you can also post ascii art now which means that there is going to be loads of ascii ****s in the comment section.

Oh i just remembered the new top comment system. It puts the top comments which have had lots of likes to the top, which means that spammers can permanently advertise to everyone viewing the vid. Good job Google you just helped the people you should be trying to put a stop to.

Now you can't comment without doing so. I used to close them as well.

Now you can't comment without doing so. I used to close them as well.

They converted my screen name to my real name because of linking to Google+.

When I tried to change it back, they said I wasn't allowed, because Google + will only accept real names in the field for screen names.

I just about **** myself.

Its pretty garbage now. I've refused everything so I still have my avatar and old screen name.

I managed a workaround, for now, but the link still exists, and I am not permitted to sever it, so far. I'm hoping they reverse the policy, since it should be illegal in most jurisdictions, anyway, because of privacy laws.

Basically this - I hate the new comment section as well - I'd rather not have all the top comments, it makes it confusing.

It makes no sense they will be taking use from their own product i use Gmail for Youtube and Youtube alone. I now have no reason to use Gmail.

Same. I use Hotmail. Really, what are these web designers thinking? It's like they're trying their best to make browsing YT as inconvenient as they possibly can.
