Dat moment when you solo, but forgot to put on private, or a friend uses old Invites to join.
Even worse moment when you try and solo for the first time, and realize you didn't get the challenge because of the 2 people you forgot about joining, dying, and leaving in the same wave.
To OP: The objectives are tough depending on which one you get and the map you are on. Just gotta learn the tricks to soloing and you'll get it eventually.
If there was an on and off button to objectives, completing the solo challenge would be a lot easier for most people, needs to remain a challenge.

Edit: As for the objectives, I'd rather be able to have one every wave and be allowed to get more space credits

There are lower difficulties for everyone. A single lift nade can almost clear a wave on Bronze so I'm not sure how much easier that could be.Zakuspec089 wrote...
I know others may think its boring and others think its fun. Personally it fun to me, they did listen to those that thought MP was too easy they made it hard. Now it's hard for everyone, that isn't fair to gamers like me. In future games they should have options like I said before, we pay for the game we should play however we want. That simple.

Also I want a wave composition editor, a map editor, a real spectator mode (ghost/player) and a FOV setting in the menu.

Then get it on PC so you can mod it to be exactly the game you want it to be.
Otherwise, just enjoy what it is or don't, stop whining about it.

just to mix things up a bit.
my opinion is the game would be stale without objectives, the objectives inspire a need to the whole team outside of just survival. (even with non objective helping worthless teammates)
besides playing solo is an option, so you are turning on "optional extra difficulty" setting already and then complaining about it.

We get it, it's just not a good idea.Zakuspec089 wrote...
I don't think people get it, what I'm trying to say.
Most everyone enjoys a challenge those that don't play lower difficulties. Simple as that. Customization like this would also lead to more matchmaking woes as well especially for a game when it's in the later stages of it's life. Have you ever considered maybe you enjoy the match without objectives but what about the other three people joining your lobby?

Right now though, the objectives are the only really challenging point of the matches.
My advice for you, when soloing, wherever an objective appears on your map .. go to the farthest point away from that objective, count to 20, then go back to the objective location and complete the objective.
This will draw the enemies away from the objective location, making it easier to do. The only objective this may not apply with is the targets objective .. you have to rambo those (or missile)
Remember, you are given a lot of time to complete most objectives, don't be afraid to take advantage of that

They are not listening only to one group, they created a game. A game with objective waves which wasn't meant to be played solo, but with multiple players. Objectives can be a pain, but the advice by MaxCrushmore is a good one: Try to lure the enemies away, then go to the objective. If it gets too hot: same precedure again. There is enough time on the clock. Save your rockets for eliinating targets. Also watch some of the multiplayer solo guides on youtube, they are really helpful.Zakuspec089 wrote...
There players that like objectives and no objectives. I have more fun with wave based gameplay, others they can have objectives in their games or every wave. It depends on us how we want to play in our games. We own the games once we buy the game. They should make everyone happy. It's about being fair, if they only listen to one group that will make other fans unhappy, you know.
I at one point didn't think I could ever solo Gold, but after some grinding and learning, I now have my Lone Wolf Banner. Not sure if I will ever beat Platinum solo, but I'll try to improve. Maybe I get it done someday, maybe not. But you know what: that's why there are different skill levels. Not everyone has to be able to beat every skill level alone. The point a game producer has in mind is: the game has to be challenging even for those who have mastered every move you can make, every AI movement. You can't expect to beat a game solo that was meant to be played with multiple guys without a lot of practice.
What I don't like about the Mass Effect Multiplayer is that you have to spend too much time in it, to get weapons, mods and consumables at a necessary level AND that it has to do with luck whether you get your preferred weapons or not. I think it is not thought well through that you can play over a 1000 hours of MEMP without getting your favorite gear. That can't be working as intended.

With objectives they added in the game after the game was released to make the game more difficult. I disliked when they did it I thought it was annoying. It fun playing with others but when solo it's annoying. I play for fun really not seriously when I play multiplayer though I do sometimes. They should make both fans happy, other games did it right I know mp was an addition to make mass effect more fun.
If you hate soloing DON'T SOLO, the banner is for people who enjoy beating challenges, and if you aren't up for the challenge you don't get the reward handed to you for free anyways,
the challenge may be hard, but it's fair, I had to solo with objectives, so why should you get the same reward without the same effort?
I play the game for fun more than anything else, the reason I have what I have is because I earned it fair and square,
And having more objectives that aren't 4 devices is far better than not having them, even just for the diluting effect, drones and carries are way easier than those god forsaken devices

Why does it have to be a big deal to have options to your very own game that you paid for? If I want to play with it off I should be able too, just like others if they want to play hard. To play for fun they shouldn't remove anything, give maybe less credits or whatever. Every player should be able to earn something from playing both modes. We all pay for the game.

That sounds fair to me and everyone wins, no need to hate on it. Everyone play differently. They should have it.
