No, everyone doesn't win, and it's not "fair". There is a thing called opportunity cost buddy. They spend time and money to satisfy your needs, and that cuts into time that they could've spent on others (bugfixes anyone?), not to mention matchmaking woes that has already been mentioned in this thread. It is impossible to please everyone, and adding "options" dilutes the game, so I strongly disagree with this. Pandering to the needs of every tiny demographic is economically unfeasible. If you're not skilled enough then either get better, or play something else that you can enjoy.

They can't make everyone happy, People will just find something else to complain about. As it was said, most of us got our Lone Wolf banners legit and had to deal with the objectives alone without backup, you get no special treatment. Soloing is a challenge, you don't see anyone else complaining to make a challenge like that easier because it is meant to be a challenge, you are either able to do it or you aren't.

Realize that this is a co-op game, the multiplayer wasn't meant to be soloed in the first place. The objectives are there with the intent of working with a team to complete them. You have the option to solo or not, if you choose to solo you will have to pull the weight that an entire team has to, including the objectives.

Just because you bought the game doesnt mean they have to make every accomodation for your interests. The problem isnt the objectives, the problem is that you can't solo with them. If you could, you wouldn't even be bothered by the objectives to request an on-off option in the first place. The only options you have is to either solo like everyone else did with the objectives or play the game like its meant to be played, with other players.

I hope they add new features and options in the next game. Mass Effect Multiplayer though I disliked it it was really fun. You should buy the Citadel DLC ... yeah. No objectives in that and its offline.

but this is a multi-player mode. Despite there being a challenge for solo, it was not designed around you being able to solo it and as such soloing is not always an easy thing.

It's basically just a fancy way of saying "l2p", but I would recommend that you practice and get better so you can solo rather than asking the game to come down to your level.

Geez you don;t need to hate on my opinion and what I think. I bought the game too. I have a right to request something. I'm more of a fan than you are, I own all the games and DLC, some collectibles too. I spent hours playing Multiplayer and Singleplayer, mainly SIngleplayer. There should be an offline mode and options to play the game. This game wasn't really meant for Multiplayer either.

I dislike people like you telling me what I can and can't do, what to like and dislike. It would be so much better if they had more options. They listened to you people when you though the game was too easy. They added harder difficulties and eneimes. We didn't get anything and when I requested, that was unfair. Mass Effect is a great and fun game. I love Mass Effect.

If I want to play solo I can play solo, I could play solo however I like because I paid for the game. We all paid for the game. I think next time there should be more and equal options and oppurtunities for all players. THEY SHOULD MAINLY FOCUS ON SINGLEPLAYER. There should be OFFLINE AND ONLINE MODES, IT MAKES THE GAME BETTER AND MORE FUN. If you don't like it, you don;t need to bash it, bash those who play differently than you.

I play for fun and the enjoyment, not everyone can beat the mode solo. It easy for you but it hard for others.

Not everyone can do solo, I tried and I can't. I can play with others, I'm always at the bottom. It would be fun with Offline-Spltscreen, with A.I bots as well. All content should be unlocked though for offline mode.

The reason it isn't available offline is that, when this game came out, EA was on their big 'online pass for multiplayer' kick. If it wasn't for that then yeah adding the option to solo/splitscreen offline could've happened. The reason it didn't is not the fan's or developer's desires, it was EA's call. Now that that 'online pass' thing seems over for them, maybe next time.

Also, where the hell do you get off telling a stranger online that you are a bigger mass effect fan than them. Stop being such a D-bag...

You're complaining about not being able to play something called "multiplayer" on your own.

You clearly don't understand what multiplayer means. It doesn't matter if you don't find soloing on multiplayer fun, because you're entirely misunderstanding the word "multiplayer". Asking that they make basically the biggest aspect of multiplayer easier for a solo player misses the point of multiplayer so hard that I'm actually not sure if you're being serious.

I was telling him I'm a bigger fan because the way he commented to me. I'm allowed to have opinions like we all do, if someone is being negative to you have the right to defend yourself. I'm in no means hating on Multiplayer or people. Multiplayer was fun I just wanted them to include more option, suggestions for future games.

I own all the games, DLC I put mainly hours in Singleplayer and Multiplayer, paid for items and collectibles as well. I love the series. Everyone has the right to suggest, ask something. I doubt they would do something but they would listen. I'm not new to gaming. I'm more of a solo, singleplayer person than online like most people are. x.x

You're not just suggesting something, you're complaining about the criticism you've (rightly so) received because you're missing the point of multiplayer completely. Your suggestion is so counter to multiplayer that it's ridiculous.

I hate critism, it leads to nothing but fighting That why I don't with someone. I know there people out tehre that more hardcore than I am. I know I'm a gamer that play for fun, the story, enjoyment and for the game and I take it easy. I'm not the one that goes all out or some Multiplayer Addict that sits playing Multiplayer all day long, that complain about people that don't like Multiplayer. I had fights like these online before and they're pointless. I know I have views and opinions, just liek you have views and opinions. We play our games differently.

In Multiplayer I like playing it simple for the fun and enjoying, sometimes I want to play the mode without other people. I know there are those that want to play with others, have a challenge. Everyone is different and play differentl. I play easy-hard, others only play insanse and they theink everything is too easy and other people are noobs.

It not hard when I play with others, I end up in the bottom though most of the time. I play Bronze-Silver, SIngleplayer I play easy-hard. I been playing since day one. I play Multiplayer time to time. I'm more of a solo, singleplayer gamer. I like Singleplayer, Offline Instant Action and Wave based modes. Mass Effect is great, it those Objectives that get on my nerves and annoying enemies.

There are times when I don't want to play singleplayer, with other people. That when I play solo in the other modes if games have Horde-Wave based modes, Instand Action.

If you're not ready for Gold or Platinum then you're not ready to solo. You looked at people soloing (something that's incredibly difficult to do, and no more rewarding than playing in a team) and instead of saying "I want to get as good as them" you went "I want the game to be easier so I can do that".

It's called multiplayer. Your feedback has been negative because your suggestion is dramatically against what multiplayer stands for. You're complainging about it being difficult for a single player to do the part of multiplayer that requires the most amount of teamwork, and then you're complaining at everyone who tells you how bad your idea is.

It should be fun for everyone, players that want to play on easy and players that want to play insane. I'm tired of repeating myself because your not understanding.

Mass Effect is not a challenged game to begin with. Multiplayer was added in the game to make it more fun for players after they beat Singleplayer a few times. The modes were fun, I still wished they included something. I hope the Next Mass Effect have singleplayer and offline and online modes. They listen and have it equal for all players. That be great. I can't wait for more Mass Effect.
