If it's too easy, you earn credits too easily. Removing the objectives makes it too easy.

I mean, if you want to have objectives off but you earn 0 credits for that game, I'd be fine with that, although I'd say it's not worth the time to implement it.

I wouldn't mind something like that or a complete offline mode with all unlocked, you wouldn't earn any credits, you can play the game you want to play with Objectives Off or on, easy or insanse, hoever you play.

Objective waves are my favorite when playing with a team. They can be a pain when soloing, yes, but when you get them done anyway it feels great. Don't be afraid to abandon the objective when soloing and kite a bit. You should still have time to complete it. Some objectives are a bear, though. The central device in the pit on Hydra or in the open on London... *shudder*

If you're having trouble, try soloing bronze with a pet. They can draw aggro away from you when you're doing devices or hacking and healing turrets can give you a boost just when you need it. I did my bronze and silver solos with HE and GE just because I found soloing lonely.

For devices on bronze and silver it's possible to throw out a turret in the opposite direction and run for the first (and possibly the second) objective without firing a shot. The enemies probably won't even be in sight. Once you start to see enemies, hang out in the opposite corner from the device for a bit until they start converging on you, then run for the device. Pop a turret a little distance away from the device to distract any mooks that get close. Be aware of lines of attack and try to position yourself behind cover. You can even ops pack right before doing it if you're taking fire.

Unless it's targets, minimize killing until the objective is done. Otherwise anything you kill will respawn in an inconvenient location.

For escort, get the drone as far along as you can by cover surfing, then kite away taking potshots to encourage enemies to follow, but don't kill. Double back and spend some time in the circle. Repeat. Pretty much the same for hack. If the hack zone is getting too hot, run away, take a few potshots, and double back later. You can get it done in 2 or 3 trips around the map.

For pizza, learn to run if possible. Before you run check which route is clear. The shortest distance may actually be the more dangerous one.

If you really can't do objectives try Juggernaut. He can actually do devices while mooks are beating on him, then get up and wade through the crowd to the next device. Pop an electrified hex shield and walk through it. Anything following will be stunned, allowing you to put a little distance between you and them. Flamer turret is a great distractor.

You can't play other species though. I want to play other species. That too why I'm asking for offline mode. I don;t understand what teh big freaking deal is just to play it solo, offline and having options. They aren't broke, it's you people who are making it a big deal. Arguing with people who want suggestions, more options to play thier own game.  We all paid for it, we should have options and ways to play our game hoever they like. I'm sure they will listen to both fans.

I'm not asking them to put it in Mass Effect 3 since they are done with Mass Effect 3. It would be nice. This is for future games, to have Singleplayer and Multiplayer, offline and online modes. It be awesome to have Offline Multiplayer with the weapons and species, customization just like online. I think it be great. I hope they make it great for both players. If you don't want and like that, I don;t understand you at all.

Geez you don;t need to hate on my opinion and what I think. I bought the game too. I have a right to request something. I'm more of a fan than you are, I own all the games and DLC, some collectibles too. I spent hours playing Multiplayer and Singleplayer, mainly SIngleplayer. There should be an offline mode and options to play the game. This game wasn't really meant for Multiplayer either.

I dislike people like you telling me what I can and can't do, what to like and dislike. It would be so much better if they had more options. They listened to you people when you though the game was too easy. They added harder difficulties and eneimes. We didn't get anything and when I requested, that was unfair. Mass Effect is a great and fun game. I love Mass Effect.

If I want to play solo I can play solo, I could play solo however I like because I paid for the game. We all paid for the game. I think next time there should be more and equal options and oppurtunities for all players. THEY SHOULD MAINLY FOCUS ON SINGLEPLAYER. There should be OFFLINE AND ONLINE MODES, IT MAKES THE GAME BETTER AND MORE FUN. If you don't like it, you don;t need to bash it, bash those who play differently than you.

I play for fun and the enjoyment, not everyone can beat the mode solo. It easy for you but it hard for others.

You have 3 ways to solo without players:

1: Play single player (Offline)

2: Armax Arena in the Citadel DLC (No Objectives and Offline)

3: Get better at soloing bronze in multiplayer (Online)

Armax Arena is the best thing you got to an offline solo mode right now, and i'd say its fairly dang close to what you want, and you should be able to do that. If you wanna solo with other characters in multiplayer then get better in multiplayer, because currently you seem to be demanding what you already have. Bronze is such an easy difficulty to solo idk what to tell you other than what others are saying which is  "learn2play". 

If you think my words were harsh you obviously didn't notice the other people posting. They are posting much more hurtful things than I am.  I simply gave you the reasons on why people don't agree with you. You don't know me, if you want to assume you are a bigger fan than me go ahead, but that statement you made is irrelevent to the discussion. It doesnt matter if you are a "bigger fan" than me, doesnt mean you get better treatment than anyone else here. 

Don't know where you came up with "this game isn't meant for multiplayer". If it wasnt meant for multiplayer, there wouldn't be a multiplayer. You seem to be throwing a hissy fit on not being able to solo and are putting words into my mouth, therefore bashing me. I never said you didn't  have the freedom to request what you like or do what you like but it seems like you expected to not have any debate regarding your opinion. If you didn't want any thoughts against your opinion, you were better off not posting here.

I know they are done with Mass Effect 3, it would suck thoygh when they shut down the servers in the future, you can't play The Multiplayer anymore. I hope in future games they listen, add more options, offline and online modes.

I'm not going to argue with more options, more options are always nice. Would have been awesome to be able to apply some modifiers to a game.

That said, Objectives weren't meant to be done solo, they're meant to be accomplished as a team. They're also there to break up the waves so it isn't just all horde mode all the time. They add a little variety.

I would imagine most people have pointed out by now that the game was never designed around soloing, so that doesn't really factor into things. As far as why objectives are there, I always find the objective waves to be the most interesting ones. Without them, I'd have been bored by the game long ago.

And you can't turn them off because they are an inherent part of the game's challenge and difficulty. It would be like turning off Engineer's ability to drop turrets, or Ravager's swarmers. If you take them away, the whole thing has to be balanced from the ground up. Makes more sense not to have it as an option.

Maybe a future version will be balanced around a more flexible set of challenges, but it wouldn't have made sense this time around.

I agree that they should make an offline mode to where you can play with custom options, chances are the ability to complete challenges or earn credits will be taken out. All the gear would probably be given to you but the gear wouldn't carry over to online multiplayer. I misunderstood you based on the title and most of your posts.

Your Title: What was the point of objectives, why weren't there On and Off Options?
Correct title: Add more options in future mass effect games: Online and Offline Modes

You see how the two are different right?

Your title basically bashed objective based modes from the start because you couldnt solo with them on, which pretty much earned instant hate and a lot of "learn2plays" from the people who liked them. The Correct title explains everything that you wanted to explain minus the bashing of the objective based modes. Proper wording would have saved you a lot of grief.

I mentioned a more options, online and offline mode before and people bashed me than as well. It's annoying, I could change the topic again, what good would it do? I wouldn't mind having everything unlocked and no credits, credits would only be online.

Yet you forget what i said, you came off as bashing objective modes in your title from the beginning, so you cannot change that around as if you wasn't doing it based on failing to be able to solo. Now it is too late to change your wording, but I for one get your point.

If you want your view shown exactly how you want, you are going to need to word it properly.
