About an hour into N7 day, I came to BSN and saw people complaining about not running into any devs yet at 5am so I quit playing Mass Effect and played Diablo instead.

If BSN people complain about steak, will you go vegan?

Implying that I would probably jump off a bridge if BSN said it wasn't cool.

go away pug

No, the implication would be that, if BSN were complaining about jumping off of bridges, you would abandon your previous plans to jump off a bridge and...I dunno, jump off of something else.

I managed to get a couple games in at the office, and then played a dozen or so games when I got home. I wish I could've played with everyone on N7 day.

Perhaps.  Trying to understand why BSN complaints would dictate a course of action for you was probably a fool's errand to begin with.

I wish I had thought about it. I just took my first FemShep all the way through the trilogy and talked the Illusive Man into going out the Saren way on N7 Day - didn't even occur to me that devs were playing MP.

Hey, if there are any devs playing pity games with people who can't stop ordering N7 hoodies, hit me up.

You're missing out on several other deciding factors and are just going with surface value. Were you privy to my thought process in its entirety, you would determine it was not just BSN that decided my day for me. Welcome to the real world, where the complexities of a human being make more sense the less you try to analyze them.

No devs. Hell, not even any BSNers of whom I'm aware. Pity, since I'm almost to the point I don't want to hide in shame after every Gold match.

Despite retiring from Gold, played a bunch of Gold games and didn't run into any devs. *sadpanda* On the plus side, the quality of people I was playing with was excellent. PUGs, you done good.

And after all that cash, I still don't have a Lancer.

M-7 Lancer IV here with only a little over 150 hours played (RNG loves me)

On topic: NO DEVS

My PS3 got the blinking red light of death on N7 day!  I just discovered the incredible Mass Effect Universe a little over 6 months ago.  I have connected with some really good online players who have told me how fun things were when multiplayer first came out.   I've become a decent player and can do pretty well on Platinum.  Like a kid waiting for Christmas, I looked forward to N7 day.  Well I was not able to join in and play - however I did get to watch BioAdmiral play on Twitch.

That was really cool!  I apologize to Bryan for my overly enthusiastic participation in the Twitch chat. Until N7 day - I had thought the ME3 online events were a thing of the past.  So I appreciate Bryan answering some my 3,000 questions.  He even took my request to play as the Asari Huntress Infiltrator and used the same build I use with her on Platinum.

You know - it seems there are many new players joining the ME world.  I find myself mentoring people who are just joining in as people did for me when I was starting out.  Any chance for more online events for those of us just coming into the Mass Effect world as we wait for the new Mass Effect series?

It could be a low-cost marketing strategy to continue to drive consumer interest in the Mass Effect world that ultimately contribute to higher sales of the new game? :)

Thanks again to BioWare and Brojo (as I have been told he is called) for putting on N7 day!

Got 6 Platinum rounds in this evening. INVADERONE was nice to give me so many opportunities to get revive medals.
