I really like the Turian Sentinel's kit. He will probably be my higher difficulty character for a while. I would, however, like some suggestions on building him.

The following powers are pretty much set in stone:
For Tech Armor I am going durability, power damage, durability
For Overload I am going chain, neural shock, shield
For Warp I am taking it to at least combo, expose. I am not sure I am going to take it to rank 6. (And no, I am not going to get all chuffed about maximal biotic explosions. So save it.)
For Fitness I want at least rank 3, maybe 4 health and shields.

I am also looking for extremely fast cool downs. That means either using just SMGs/Pistols or my Avenger X, or putting some points into his class power. His class power also has a nice stability attribute which would mean less need for a stability mod.

So the question really comes down to greater durability (fitness) vs more weapon damage (higher powered weapons generally being heavier) I am leaning toward durability. Maybe rank 4 fitness, with the rest thrown into his class power.

Definitely max weapon damage in the passives, his is the best in the game plus it comes with recoil reduction. Skipping warp rank 6 wouldn't be crippling, but I like the armor weakening effect myself.

I know you have some strong preferences but just as a point of reference here is my preferred Tsent build:
http://kalence.drupa...!24K51384!3F99C

Tech armor gives most of its benefits already at rank 3. You can swap the Lancer for any midweight weapon you like/have. Acolyte is purely for on host phantoms. Between warp and warp ammo you don't need a piercing mod to do full damage to armor.

I would rather use this.

Yeah, you lose 325 shields, but your overload is 600 damage stronger to shields and barriers while your Warp is 312 stronger to Armor. Totally worth killing something faster IMO.

Anyways, you don't need Fitness if using a Cyclonic as you Tech Armor more than compensates.  Also, with Warp taken to rank 6, you get higher DPS on top of a debuff, adding to the speed at which you can kill. Plus, your stronger overload helps you shieldgate enemies faster. (I've noticed some enemies get "staggered" when they reach shield-gate --- i.e. Marauders, Primes, Praetorians, etc.)

Nah, headshot bonus can be skipped for increased power damage.  That is especially useful for OL.

I did the math, you get more shields than 6/5/6/6/3, even if you go with cyclonic

I may be wrong but wouldn't 50% Damage Reduction from max tech armor >> more shields from fitness?

You get 35% DR with only 3 points in tech armor. The extra 15% DR is not worth the loss of 50% health and shields.

You may get more effective health and shields with FPs build, but your power damage is much greater if you go with This Build.

You gain more power damage at the expense of ~325 shields (less some health too). As I pointed out earlier, Overload is a full 600 points stronger against shields/barriers, while warp is ~300 stronger vs armor.

But you get +15% DR as well as 30% Power damage

We need to keep in mind I don't have the high level guns. I would go Hurricane if I could, but I can't.

But you miss out on an extra 10% DR for 100 health/150 shields....:?.  Also, Locust/PPR/GPR/Arc Pistol/Talon/Tempest/CSR/etc. would work well too. Turian class passive boosting weapon means nearly all weapons are viable on him. (many of which get rather good recharge speeds due to Turian higher weight capacity

Edit: if you run with an adrenaline mod, your build does give more survivability. however, with a cyclonic, the DR is better.  Also, I don't know why you would skip last evo on Warp. Drastically debuffs and damages armored/barriered targets. With both OL and Warp maxed, he can effectively cover U/U/G quite (<-- american definition) easily.

This. Kinda...

You don't need to max tech armor. You're spending 15 points for a minimal amount of damage reduction (15%) and 30% power damage on two low damage powers (you won't get much more raw damage out of them). 3 ranks of Tech Armor still gets you 35% damage reduction, which is double what you'd be getting out of the other 15 build points you're planning on spending.

One thing is for certain... Do NOT skimp out on his weapon passives... They are the best in the entire game. No other character gets 37.5% more weapon damage except the Turian Soldier. He also gets 30% headshot damage which is one of the only ways to increase damage vs bosses.

I would go:

3 - Tech Armor
6 - Overload - Chain, Neural Shock, Shield Damage
5 - Warp - Combo, Expose
6 - Passives - WEAPON, whichever at rank 5, WEAPON - this is so key I can't empasize this enough.
6 - Fitness - All health/Shields.

6-6-4-6-4 is my Build. Techarmor boosts the lowerded damage from lvl4 Overload. He carries a Hurricane or ligtwight AR and an Phalanx for Headshots across the map.
