Another way people could spec Warp is to take the damage evos instead of detonate or whatever to increase cheese damage. I'm sure stinkier, creamier cheese is worth more DPS than Biotic Explosions. Might be worth it on the Reegar Valkyrie.

The damage evo's only an option on rank 4, instead of detonate.

The rank 5 option increases total damage by 40% additive, but increased the duration by 60%.

Because the older dot powers are based on total damage/duration=dot per second, this actually decreases warp's DPS.

This is exactly like that bonus power biotic charge thread all over again. Why on earth would you forgo 25% armour debuff in favour for the other option? Not only does it make no sense, it's also an incredibly dumb thing to do. This is what happens when people get bored with the game. They start nerfing their powers and speccing stupid builds and using rubbish weapons. You can play the game however you like, just don't force your ideas on other people and start recommending them as good builds. Because this idea sucks so much. Horrible idea. Stupid hipster builds do not make the game more fun, they just make it harder.

Just because you're jealous of my rank, it doesn't give you the right to call me a troll when I call you out on dumb build suggestions.

Also... Read the thread. Armor debuff is redundant because everyone always packs armor mitigation mods... That's the point of the thread. N7 rank damn sure doesn't indicate IQ that's for sure.

Gotcha.
The thread's not completely pointless though, debating whether to skip rank 6 of warp completely on kits that don't need the extra armour sundering to gain points to use elsewhere's certainly valid.

I never skip the pierce evo myself, but I can understand why others might consider it.

You will never be able to convince anyone that a 35% quicker cooldown is better than 25% armour debuff!! This is the stupidest thing I have ever read on BSN for sure! I can't believe this is actually being discussed. I feel like I'm being trolled very hard here. I actually believed you were being serious. You win.

the benefits of the warp level 6 options are not very great. either option doesn't provide a substantial upgrade such as other powers rank 6 evos. The main benefit you gain is the extra biotic explosion damage from a rank 6 primer/detonator.

its not an armor debuff, it's armor weakening. So if you already have piercing on your weapon, you really do like the same damage

Opinions are about facts, therefore the only way I could prove my opinion to be fact is if my opinion were the fact it self. (i.e. my opinion was that "6a on warp gives you 25% armor weakening")
