Never really heard of "Games Aktuell" so i don't care for their review. There are other gamemags with a better reputation, will wait for them to unleash their wrath upon ME2 :P Especially 4Players tends to be unsparing and honest.

Indeed... *needs mod rights to close topic* <_<

Yes, ofcourse they do, but not because the "trolling", but because you have three people yelling at the OP because he said something negative about your favourite game.

It is disappointing - but I'd be lying if I said I was surprised. With BioWare's recent switch of labels from "RPG" to "shooter-RPG" it's very clear that they were going for mainstreamers, which equals lots of explosions and shooting bad guys.

It does look like there might be added exploration with the Hammerhead being DLC, but...at this point I think it'll be easier to just think of Mass Effect as sci-fi shooters, and Dragon Age as the RPGs. My plea to BioWare is that they do not start dilluting Dragon Age's design because of platform compatibility or because they want to "mainstream" it. If it only works on PC(and after seeing all the draaaaaama about the console versions, it seems it does) - fine, keep it on PC *shrugs* I'll just have to buy a proper one.

Trolls vs Fanboys ^^.

Actually there is some truth behind the polemic arguments of the OP.
But that mustn't mean anything bad for the game.

Sometimes less is more.
I always felt the talent system in ME1 a bit too streched, where you didn't usually experience the 1 point investment in a given skill.
Now you have 4 levels of a given talent, where each level will have a significant improvement, i guess.
So even as a RPG fan I'm fond of (well it's a guess based on previews) the new streamlined system.
If I am able to finish the game with my adept without even using any gun, I won't have the feeling of it beeing a pure shooter :P.

This is such fantastic news!!!!!!! I love Modern Warfare 2 and Hal0z and Gears 0f War far more than FAGGOT Age: FAGIGINS, and FAG Effect, so this is so amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111111111 lolz

/sarcasm.

God you guys are so melodramatic, some meaningless, arbitrary, unsubstantiated statistics and you all lose your collective minds.

so, how exactly did they come up with those percentages? cause that action percentage for ME1 can't be right.

but whatever, i hated the mako with a passion, so if them getting rid of it means slightly less exploration, i say good riddance. I'd much rather get straight to the shooting than driving around steep mountain ranges that all basically looked the same.

Mmm. Even with the videos showing exploration, the dialog/interrupt system, the skill/talent and appearance customization options. Bioware's extremely competent history, people are still freaking out.

Morons.

In all seriousness, the campaign is an awfully written, cliché ridden abomination, the multiplayer is exceptionally fun but awfully unbalanced and broken (spawns, ridiculous killstreaks, insane power of guns), but the game is pretty addictive.

Just one more reason we should go back and bomb Germany, a preemptive strike put them straight before they start the funny business again

The OP is a troll,

The headline from Games Aktuell is as follow:

Perfekte Mischung aus Shooter und Rollenspiel - Bioware übertrifft sich selbst!

Perfect mix of Shooter and Role play - Bioware excels themself!

People who only like classic RPGs and hate games with DLC can continue to whine about Mass Effect 2, while I will enjoy one of the best games in years.

They honestly thought the first one only had 30% action? That alone "ruins" the credibility of their review.

*Agreed*
