OP's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

as i said before
50% shooter 50% roleplaying stuff
the balance is right.

Except when you felt the original game was about 40% Shooter and 60% RPG and you felt that it still needed to be more RPG and less shooter.

Is everybody still actually complaining about improvements to the game? It's a little sad actually. They improve the shooter elements, and you the die-hard fans believe that this is a bad thing, and will change the game forever?

You should know better. It's quite offensive to insinuate that Bioware is going to ruin this game.

You're worried about all the "Modern Warfare crowd" playing your game and making it mainstream thus making it "uncool?" Don't worry. They'll get through 5 lines of dialogue say: "ammgg whatz with all t3h talking in this game!?" and then go get drunk and steal a car or.... whatever it is that these young'uns do these days....

It's still an RPG. It's still Mass Effect. It's still Bioware. So wait 6 days and see for yourself.

Btw i reported everyone, who couldn't keep their cool and said stuff like "bombing Germany".

Think before you post, damn racists.

Since there's no such thing as a German race, they'd be bigots, not racists.

OP suck! Course ME2 is more combat, since the "combat" in ME1 was actually an RPG element, a dice to be exact. Only thing that worries me is no vehicle. That means no big open spaces. Darn..

Agreed, I don't think the shooter elements or the combat changes in general are going to "ruin this game".

Now the cheesy new crew, zombie cyborgs, and disconnect with the original story and characters, that is what is going to ruin the game. ^_^

Wait, are my empty worlds gone!?! The ones that I would drive around for hours on and scale crazy boring mountains to find fascinating minerals and little blurbs of text!?! You're telling me these are gone!?! OH THE HUMANITY!!!! :o
Sounds 100x better to me already.

*snip*

I don't mind the improved shooter elements at all; I'm worried about the diminished options for character and party customization. I don't think Bioware will ruin the game, but I am afraid they're taking the ME franchise into a choose-your-own-adventure shooter direction when I'd rather it retain the ability growth and customization options found in ME1 and other Bioware RPG's.
