I thought Bioware was going to announce IT reveal DLC first?

They already did.  They released it.  It was called "Leviathan".

You should check it out, it's really rather good.

Leviathan helped me a good bit in believing in IT/IT-ish stuff, while I was still on the fence during launch to EC. So there's that.

wait, I thought bioware **** IT down, and said the catalyst wasn't lying?

It very much became "your own interpretation is valid, we don't want to say yes or no" and "we really appreciate that people are thinking so deeply into it!" once they realised that so many people were cooking up ridiculous conspiracy theories like IT amidst all the outrage.

If the ending had been received more positively they might've been more willing to talk about it and explain the actual meaning and intent behind it all, but I honestly think it was just too much effort. Whatever anyone from Bioware said would just invite more controversy and bitterness, and at this point either confirming or denying *anything* would just annoy segments of the fanbase that had bought into whatever conclusion they wanted. They'd receive criticism from somebody no matter what they said, so the solution apparently seems to be vagueness about everything.

Ignoring it entirely and saying everyone can believe whatever they want seems like the easiest way to sidestep all the backlash, even if not being definitive leaves space for half-baked fan theories to stick around and multiply.

(And on that topic - if there's a trailer at the VGX, I'd much prefer directness over ambiguity. Give us details and specifics. Even if the teasing is some kind of tongue-in-cheek nod at fan speculation or the ending shenanigans, I'm getting sick and tired of Bioware using fan theories as an excuse to be indecisive and vague. If they want to show something off or include it in their games, think it through and leave no room for rabid conspiracies.)

I think I chose The Last of Us for every category it appeared in, even voted for Troy Baker as Joel for "Best Voice Acting" lol.

Gave Citadel the thumbs up for "Best DLC" - it really was a ****load of fun.

Oh and LOL at Battlefield 4 being put in "Best PC Game" alongside three infinitely better games (Gone Home, Stanley Parable and Papers, Please).

the next dragon age is coming out end of next year so i think it's unlikely they'll release both games that close to each other. DA 2014, ME 2015 seems most likely.
