Regarding this (http://www.tomshardw...2-DLC,9458.html) news article, it says DLC will be free for release day.
The problem is, the release day for America is the 26th, and I'm in New Zealand and we're getting it on the 29th.
Will I still be able to get the free release day DLC even though NZ gets it a couple of days later?
I really hope so! I think they should've included a cupon code for it in the game case like they did with Dragon Age.

Free DLC is for anyone who buys a new copy of the game. All games come with a one time use Cereberus Network access card that will have a key you type in somewhere on the social site. I imagine its the exact same as DA:O. So yes as long as you are buying a new retail or digital download you are good to go

I really hope that's the case.
Perhaps we might be lucky and have bioware comfirm it.

it is the case.
However future DLC releases you will pay for such as the Hover Tank stuff but anything that is available day 1 you are good to go with a new copy
The tomshardware article is just poorly written and I can see how it can be misinterpreted. Read the press release yourself. Jan 26th is just the release date for the first DLC pack.

it's badly worded really, what they mean is that the free DLC will be released on the same day as the game, not that it will be free only for that one day
