Or, at least, not awful.

1) Why would the Reapers need a base in dark space as opposed to just sitting there by themselves? If they did need a base, then considering how many Reapers there are wouldn't it be more likely that there would be multiple bases?
2) Destroying the Reaper base would not stop the Catalyst or the Reapers from continuing to act.
3) I'm no scientist but how likely is it that a black hole would exist in the space between galaxies? And if it did, why would the Reapers build a base near it?
4) Why assume that the Reaper base is needed to make a Reaper? ME2 established they could use something like the Collector base to do the same thing, and were in fact doing so.
5) I don't get why an author avatar was a character in the scene.

Ok it was a little hard to follow, but OP wanted an option in ME3 for Shepard to destroy the Reaper base in dark space, thus ending the threat of the Reapers? Is that right? If so, a few critiques, assuming the proposed story exists alongside existing ME lore and story:

answer: yes I wanted a option which is why i'm trying to explain it.
1: the base is largest and very heavily protected with reaper troops in case Shepard finds the location. their only target in ME3 was only Shepard and the destruction of galaxy's beings.
2: destroying the base would free the Citadel AI from being restricted with decisions of Control, Destroy, Merging.
it would open up the dialogues that he is free from the restrictions that was placed on him, allowing him to stop Reapers all over the galaxy. because being freed from the restrictions he now has free will and ability to stop the war. he'd recognize the order of their current system is broken and needs to be stopped so he'd order them to stop attacking, help rebuild the galaxy without killing Shepard in process.
3: Black Holes do exist in our Universe, but here are Black Holes that are actually visible in some parts of Space without any need for lights to be detected. remember in that first part of dialogue, which mentioned strong mass field. it would be biggest mass field like you went here in ME2's dead reaper ship. it's strong enough to stay aloft. when you did the mission that destroyed the control center, which shut down the field caused the ship to fall and burn up. it's SAME but only it's right near the Black Hole.
4: the base is also largest. I say again, largest because it could harbor a very totally different Reaper we never known of. it could be more powerful than Harbringer. so have to assume here is powerful Reaper.
5: I actually spoke with my character over this in dreamland (sure it's crazy but trust me, it's scary as hell. I was scared out of my mind when I boarded the base with her.) but also I know difference between reality and dream. so I know.
anyway we're getting off topic with that, so the point is I did wanted an option for fourth ending which would happen in Dark Space.

Reading this made me realise that the novel I've just finished writing is actually quite good.
Or, at least, not awful.
