Less than 5% of players picked either dwarven origin (that's 33% of the game's origin resources being used by less than 5% of the player base). Would you also say that including dwarven, and probably even elven, protagonists are an utter waste of time? They are, after all, less popular than the game itself seems to be with gay men and women.Inquisitor Recon wrote...

Note, I don't want them excluded. I'm just checking for consistency.
To be fair, Molestia is probably the strongest demon there is. Such a perfect mix of desire and pride rolled into oneTheBlackBaron wrote...

I don't want to sound like I'm speaking for all multisexuals out there, but I don't see how there needs to be two desire demons on screen. Being multisexual implies to me that either kind of demon is fair game, ie game design-wise you could say we're less picky.Less than 5% of players picked either dwarven origin (that's 33% of the game's origin resources being used by less than 5% of the player base). Not to defend the heterosexual statistics but bioware did make that gameplay decision in Dragon age 2. If strapped for resources and development time, I would also drop non majority features. Different story here they do have resources and time.

I too don't mind others having the option to see the version of the Desire demon they want, but how would you make it work?
I suppose you could an option at the character creation screen which would let you pick a preference, after picking your gender. This might involve a bit of work on the developers' side, but then again, Bioware has been trying to make everyone with any preference happy.
Having said that, I definitely do not want to see naked male desire demons in the game at random. *shivers*
I think people are focusing to much on a possible one time encounter where you might have a dialogue with one.
That, I think, is pretty much resolved :
1) Monitor the characters the players are flirting with.
2) Add two Desire Demon in the encounter.
3) Only female flirting : two female demons . Only male flirting : two male demons. Female and male flirting : one male, one female. Everyone is happy.
The rest of the game there would be just random alteration between the two variaties.Regarding the looks of the possible "naked male desire demons" - I think that something like the picture from my original post is a pretty good compromise.

If you want a Male Desire DEMON because of lgbt representation, you need to reevaluate your priorities, I would like to think you guys had your sights set higher than that. You guys deserve better than a Desire Demon lmao

So in the case of the Desire Demon, IMO, it should be androgynous. Desire is universal. It can be both masculine and feminine. It can be sexual. It can be power. It can be wealth.
Bottom line is that Desire, Rage, Sloth, Pride, Despair...They are not sexually dimorphic. They are universal. So their designs should reflect that.

They could add a different attack patern so that you would need a different strategy when fighting them. They could be more mele focused while the females more ranged, magic focused ( just trowing ideeas around

I do sympathise with people who would feel the same as I. Just because we prefer different genders doesn't change anything.
As a straight male, I don't want to be forced to look at a naked male even if it is just a demon. In the same way I can understand if gays or straight females feel uncomfortable looking at a naked female.

They don't feel normal because they're not presented as normal, hence the need to change popular perception.

It's a joke alter ego derived off Princess Celestia, the reigning monarch in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She's usually up to no good just like her other fan-made alter ego, Princess Trollestia. But she tends to end up in situations more related to her name (albeit not quite as forcefully as the name implies). You can see an example with implied NSFW content yet absolutely nothing graphic here, based off an actual episode where Rarity showers Celestia in kisses to express gratitude.eluvianix wrote...

As for the stats, I don't know. She pretty much has divine power, right? So it'd give stat boosts that at least rivalled Meredith's red lyrium idol.
Does that mean you would support a theoretical future removal of the desire demon as we know them to look today?TurretSyndrome wrote...
