 Running around stripping shields with an Acoloyte to use Warp/Throw is getting boring.
What are some good guns that can be used as an Adept? I play the Asari Adept the most.

Personal choices are Talon, Arc Pistol or CSMG. If you use the CSMG you can still use the Acolyte as secondary since it weighs so little.

Human Adept: Acolyte/Hurricane or Talon pistol
Asari: Wraith
Justicar, Collector: Particle Rifle
Drell, Krogan, Fury, Volus: Venom
Batarian: Blood Pack SMG (not the best, just stuck with it since a challenge, and I love it on this kit)

If was an evil person, I'd say "don't worry, it's garbage until you level it up to IV".

The adepts I try and stay with what would be the default weapon weight reduction bonus if you spec that far . If you don't care about cool downs whatever you are comfortable using .

Talon with a power amp is my overall top pick. But that gets boring after a while.

But otherwise many good other choices mentioned - CSMG, wraith, venom, supressor (great with stasis), paladin, arc pistol, claymore...

Pretty much anything. Thanks to Warp Ammo, Any Biotics with a primer can become a weapons platform. For Casters, the same goes, just watch the wait. Any pistol, any SMG, the lighter shotguns (Wraith in particular due to the weight glitch), most ARs (the exceptions are fairly obvious) and even a fair few snipers (again, pretty much obvious). In particularly I quite enjoy:

Human Male Adept - Wraith /w Omni-Blade Attachment and HVB or Smart Choke (Melee build)
Human Female Adept - - Venom /w Incendiary Ammo (Caster, ULM can be useful here)
Drell Adept - Lancer/Harrier
Asari Commando - Paladin /w Warp or Phasic rounds (Stasis sniper, 6/6/6/44)
Asari Justicar - Varies heavily (atm Acolyte because Pull -> Sphere build)
N7 Fury - Hurricane or Talon
Phoenix Adept - CSMG or Talon
Krogan Shaman - Pistol /w Power Mag/Melee Stunner (melee/barrier build) or a Raider /w Smart Choke and HVB (Caster build)
Batarian Slasher - See Human Male Adept
Collector Adept - Prothean/Collector weapons /w Warp Rounds (usually CSMG or PPR)
Volus Adept - Varies (Javelin Stasis Sniper is quite fun overkill)

I got the csmg in the gift pack when I started my second account - however I'm sure you'll score one very soon even at level 1 it shoots straight and reasonably light. The M-358 I got real hardon for atm - shield gate -what's that?

guns with infinite ammo is best for adepts, so you dont have to keep running to the ammo box. I also like venom on my fury. The hurricane is nice, but on a non weapon class it becomes so difficult to choose the mods for it, so most of the time I just opt for CSMG.

I run my AA with a Valiant for Stasis sniping. In that role, a Paladin or Saber should be able to perform similarly. Arc Pistol, Talon, Wraith and Suppressor are also very good.

For more of a shield stripping shoot > Throw style like the Acolyte, there's the Talon, Arc Pistol, Executioner and Wraith.

For boss killing DPS, there's the Hurricane and CSMG...

Hurricane is a pretty good all round weapon for any adept if you dont have CSMG . Also like the Lancer on some kits and Wraith and Talon on others .
