Ok, I have the Mass Effect Trilogy boxed set installed through Origin, I do not use mods or fiddle with .inis or anything like that. (I didn't until this problem anyway.)

Last week I imported my ME1 character and played through until Kasumi's loyalty - I did her mission, then as soon as I was back on the Normandy, I didn't have the Locust - I knew I'd picked it up, because I'd been using it, but it wasn't in the Normandy Armory. 'That's weird' I thought, but games glitch sometimes. I didn't want to lose the Locust (it's awesome) so I restarted the game..

Thing is, this time around - I got the Locust, was using it for ages, then yesterday I completed Horizon and poof, the Locust has vanished, and it's not in any of my previous save games.

Now - Kasumi is still here and playable, so the DLC is still working (assumably)

But - first thing I did was try and find a way to give myself the Locust, I used the Me2 Coalesced Editor to add
''Bindings= ( Name=''NumPadOne'', Command='SetIntByName Wpn_Locust 1'' ) under [SFXGame.SFXGameModeDefault] - When I used the binding in game, I got the usual pop up box saying 'Locust is now in the armory' - but the Locust does not appear there, not after reloading, going to another planet etc.. it's not there.

edit: just to be clear, I hadn't changed with aaaanything in the files before this - so I'm 100% possitive the Locust didn't dissapear due to any fiddling.
I'm at a complete loss at what to do though, I wan't my Locust :crying: any help would be very appreciated!

Maybe you should try reinstalling the Stealing Memory DLC.

I have never had this issue, but I have ME2 on Steam.

thank you for the response capn233, I may try that - but firstly, do you know if re-installing it will effect my current game at all? Mm, will I have to pick up Kasumi again, repeat her loyalty? apologies for asking if you've no idea =)

I don't think it should affect the game as long as you don't try to play the campaign while it is uninstalled. The save files themselves should be located in their own directory, usually it is in Users or My Documents under Bioware and Mass Effect 2.

I never really had any problems with the DLC in ME2, but I think they probably altered it when they put it on Origin. Back in the day you just bought the DLC directly from Bioware, then downloaded the installer and it installed by itself without any interaction with Steam. The only DLC authorization was I think you had to log into the Cerberus Network once after you installed it to authorize it.
