I don't remember posting any rants against the Allers character from ME3.

I ranted against Allers many times.  I thought she was a waste of resources not because of "Allers" the character, but the unprofessional voice behind it (and I have nothing against Chobot), that I'm aware of and the question it concerned on Bioware's part for doing such a thing, when said resources could of gone into some Jack material, or Ashley for example.

All my dislike was because of the motive behind it.  Unless Bioware would state that she's had Voice Acting experience or has done material similar to this befoehand, then I'll be slightly less irritated.

Um, she said she hates playing video games. A lot of the objection to her is based on the perception of what she said instead of what she actually said. She's not a video game designers - she's a writer for a video game.

What does her position on playing video games do to make her a less successful writer? She was often called the "cancer eating away at Bioware" and other such piffle on twitter and there was certainly uncivil things said about her too.

Hepler was attacked in real life by trolls who sought out her phone number, personal email, and other contact info just to harass her.

In contrast, look at a super controversial male figure. Dennis Dyack. Dennis Dyack has pretty consistently been attacked for his perceived role in some really bad game industry decisions with Silicon Knights. Whether or not the allegations are true, the attacks on Dyack are not based on his gender or his eating habits.
