Do female actresses want to appear as "themselves" in a Bioware game again?

I don't remember posting any rants against the Allers character from ME3.
I mean, this character was not particularly interesting, and I didn't really see the point in adding her instead of more meaningful content, but those problems felt very minor at the time considering...
As for Tallis, I didn't even buy MoTA, I only watched someone's playthrough, but I also have to agree that despite the fact that I like Felicia Day well enough, *her character* was irritating.
Does that make me anti-feminist? I guess that it would depend on what you call feminizm.

I think he'd get along well with a certain Seeker we know.

Amazing how easy it is to play the sexist card and indiscriminately silence all critics.

So you don't appreciate being represented as wealthier, more visible, judged by your actions above all other aspects of your being, whether being gendered, racial or ethnic background, etc. Don't forget! You are so incredibly revelant to every story that no two members of another gender ever have a conversation that isn't about you?
This has been the dominant representation of men (mostly by and for men) throughout most of civilization. The fact that in 2013, we aren't creative enough to have an equal amount of stories where that isn't the case is rather depressing.
It's really problematic, and considering we are on this forum because Bioware does employ incredibly creative people who can and generally do tell really amazing stories and still have women who have pretty lousy experiences is why I started this thread in the first place.
You certainly seem to have an abundance of knowledge and appreciation for male representation. It reads like you don't view females in the quite same light, or am I incorrect? I think Female's are awsome and are cunning in ways Men can never dream of knowing.

That's like saying Danny Trejo and Johnny Depp must be regarded as equally attractive because they both star in movies.
No...The real funny part is that Men usually dont take time out to complain about how We, as a whole, are being presented. We don't care how Male protagonists are portrayed, we aren't worried that a Male protagonist might say, do, or wear something that disrespect's Manhood as an entire gender....Why dont we...well...because that's silly.
But the minute anyone on this forum so much as mentions JRPGs, you'll see male (and some female) posters flock to criticise these titles for depicting "whiny, overly-emotional, tween girly-boys who dress like chicks" as their protagonists.
The way Japanese media constructs masculinity makes members of the Western audience angry and uncomfortable, because it runs counter to what they've been taught about how men should look and behave.

In a way, it is a bit. Women being cunning and seductive is a common stereotype in fictional works especially in RPGs where being a female gives you the choice to be this, but less often gives males the chance to use wiles. The Xand wrote...

Surprising number of girls are into gay guy sex. I say surprising because I always used to assume all girls were bisexual and liked heteresexual/lesbian porn, if they even watched it at all and didn't just read erotic stories. Naive times. Good times.

Sexism is only sexist when it benefits males.
Kinda like how racial remarks are only racist when the dominant race says them. Or something.

To be fair women are generally quite a bit smaller than guys. I'm not even that strong a guy and I could easily smack around your average women. My own gf is only 5 foot, to my 5 foot 7. Eh, that's not to say I ever would do that ofc because violence is reprehensible.
Also I'm totally not sexist because one of my fave characters in League of Legends is Kayle, even if she is a woman and too breasty and blonde to look like me. I'm actually most offended that she's left handed. Have to pretend it's some sort of mirror world, or she just uses her sword in her left hand because she likes lamping people with her right.

What women want hasn't got anything to do with how they're depicted in videogames. These female characters have mostly been constructed by men, and they conform to what media assumes men want in their women. Virtually no consideration is given to what a woman wuld like to see in her female protagonists. The Xand wrote...
