Earlier this year, the hard drive in my computer was failing, and so I had to replace the hard drive.
After
reinstalling Origin and Mass Effect 3, I had a problem with the Citadel
DLC, which forced me to reinstall the Game. I eventually got that
working. but now cannot create now saves. I am currently forced to
overwrite my older saves, wich I do not want to do. Is there any way to
fix this?
Also: the game in installed in its default location, as are the saves (ie My documents on the C: drive).
Thanks
Mass Effect 3 won't allow me to create any new saves after reinstall

If you have too many saves on a profile in ME3 you loose the ability to create new saves until you delete older ones.
navigate to your saves folder and ether delete multiple older savegames or cut them into a separate folder so that you can swap them back later if you want.

Well, I have multiple copies of older saves elsewhere on my PC, so I'll try that

Yep, works now, Thanks.
I wonder why Bioware decided to limit the number of saves you could have? I don't recall this problem happening on ME2...

Console versions have always had save limits. ME has 32 saves per character.MatthewH01 wrote...
