" Cerberus is an idea, which is not so easily destroyed" remember?

Has it occurred to you that fictional characters in video games, especially fictional characters written to be fanatical terrorist nutjobs, could be wrong?

He's not a fanatical terrorist nutjob.

He's an idealist with a vision that I admire and support, and his determination to reach that vision is admirable.

The universe needs more people like TIM.

Such awesome people!

having a vision for something and what methods you'll use to attempt to achieve your vision are two things.

no matter how 'noble' TIM's goals, the fact remains.

"shepard, i've made sacrifices for humanity more then you'll ever know" -TIM

He hasn't made sacrifices, he has made sacrifices of others who may or may not share his vision.

1)indoctrinating his own troops.
2)conscripting civilians via indoctrination.
3)tricking and killing thousands through sanctuary those who went there ether died as a result of what Cerberus was doing or were turned into cannon fodder for cerberus.
4)refusing to work with the alliance for the benefit of humanity to follow some hair-brained scheme to control all reapers (you've got to admit pre-catalyst it sounds absurd)
5)assassinating a terrafirma politician to put their favorite in charge.
6)seizing omega, oppressing the population most likely with the intent to harvest element zero and conscript humans.
7)project overlord
8)attacking installations to benefit themselves which would be detrimental to the war effect
9)acts of terrorism

TIM is the kind of person that "any means to the end, justifies the end"

Cerberus is an idea... a really dumb idea, and stupidity is not so easily destroyed.

If Cerberus went in the direction Brooks wanted it to go, I'd love to see the "idea" come back again. The human centrism stuff made for good drama and conflict ever since ME1 (not just Cerberus.. I mean the general themes in ME1). I could do without all the space ninjas and husk experiments though.

Space Ninjas are cool. And who doesn't want to husk someone you don't like and shoot them just because they look at you funny

Descending into hell.

Lucifer/Satan may enlighten humanity of the truth (I mean really, things like Atlas and Cronos Station?), but it is ultimately for self-serving and jealous ends. And that's why TIM failed.

What? The Intelligence may have been telling the truth?? Sort of. I find TIM's *origin* quite interesting.
