- Making Biggs ragequit.
- Outscoring Disciple888 by 120k points when I used to play with the guy.

... that's probably it.

First gold extraction way back when. It seemed like an impossibility back then, and somehow we squeaked out a win. Then I went back to bronze and silver. Only this summer did I finally bump up and figure out how to play gold/plat.

My very first Bronze solo. I was very surprised at both the deed (completely unintentional since it was a public match but no one joined) and the sense of pride.

Nope. He was hosting with his HurrDurr/Scorpion GI.

My first plat solo, and finally achieving a sub-20 gold solo after several disheartening failures. That's all that comes to mind, anyway.

NG3 - Plat (Serious on this one. Ultimate ninja trials was balls on an unfinished game)

ME3 related: Surviving through almost impossible situations I guess. Usually happens in pugs gone bad. Latest one is probably clutching a Plat-Cerb-wave 9 game on glacier using an unfamilliar loadout.

1. Beating platinum/reapers/london with Mega/Devil and Bahroo a couple weeks after platinum was released with HSols/Avengers and no rockets or frags.
2. Getting invited to Spectre
3. Being the first person (at the time) to complete all of Prestacious challenges.

Maxing my manifest. Even though it was a grind, the completionist inside of me wanted to see it through.

Maxing my manifest aswell, just because it tooks me ages. And the BOTB too. Those promotions were painful for the lazy player I am.

My first full Gold game, which took place before I thought I could play Gold. The PuG lobby wanted to switch to Gold from Silver, and there I was with a 16th level FQE. Game went smoothly, and I was 2nd or 3rd on the scoreboard. The recent realization that I can play serviceably on Platinum was nice, too, but not as dramatic.

My first gold game. It was a camping match on White. I had no idea you could camp there. I saw them do it and was impressed by the strategy. We always did it against the Geth, but at some point we found out that Banshees had a hard time getting over the counter as well. That was later fixed.

It opened my eyes back then. I still think all that camping was a good thing, because it taught people to work as a team and that strategy matters.

I still don't think "cheesing" it is a bad thing. Playing any computer game is about getting familiar enough with the mechanics of it that you can choose a battleground or situation that is favorable to you and your skillset. So is gambling or playing poker or even playing chess.

I draw the line at rocket glitchers, but in the end, how is finding and abusing that glitch so much worse than being invulnerable most of the time as a novaguard or running at pizza delivery. Or finding out that firing a charged weapon does not turn off your cloak. I think people here are much to stuck up about this glitching/"cheating" issue. Winning a platinum game through brilliant strategy is just as impressive as winning it through massive firepower and pinpoint accuracy.
