I used to go Movement Speed but I now go Damage Taken. The lack of the additional movement speed is noticeable, but since I run Adrenaline Modules on the Fury & Valkyrie anyway they're both fast enough with those that I'd rather have the debuff.

This.
As another poster also mentioned, it aids in knowing if your field is on or off if it's glitched.

I like movement speed better. It is always useful vs. debuff that is only useful at close range.

Depends. if you're running her as a walking bio'bomb as you rightfully should given that the Valkyrie is a better fit for the weapon's expert then movement. However Warp Ammo /w debuff + amazing priming capability can't be argued against if your the boring sort likes to shoot stuff the face until it explodes... well OK that doesn't sound boring at all but...

Speed.

I only play her on Gold with Claymore/Raider - most enemies die instantly and cannot benefit from Damage Taken.

Platinum I notice mooks don't die with acolyte BE most are left with 2 bars of health unless I go damage taken....

But dat speed!!!!!! I use hurr durr + crutchalyte888 pro combo

Indeed. Damage Taken is better on Plat. But I don't play the Fury on Plat - I have the Valkyrie for that.

Also try the Claymore on the Fury. Still ~2.0 second cooldown on Throw. o__O

Speed evo for Fury, she's the more speedy Annihilation Field user.

Debuff evo for the Asari Valkyrie, she's the more powerful of the two.

No... it does damage if its in range. Moment its not in range ur not doing damage.. I don't consider that real dot. Its dot (in range) of AF

I don't understand, if you're in range then the DoT will finish off the mooks on the floor. by definition it's a DoT, you're just creating an unnecessary separation.

In this manner, it behaves the same as Warp Bubble

Zae is defining a DoT power as being something you can cast on a victim then walk away, rather than have to manually keep applying, I think.

I'd describe AF as being more like a rapid but weak (in terms of raw damage) power, rather than as a DoT, personally.

Kinda like the difference betwen a kishock harpoon to the gut and a stream of typhoon rounds, the first exposes you to less return fire than the second.

It's a subtle distinction, but an important one when kiting.

ok, now you're just splitting hairs. you know what I meant.

and it is still dot because it deals damage over time. I mean... that's the definition. it may not be "fire and forget" dot, but it is still dot. just saying. if it did all of it's damage upfront, then it wouldn't be dot.
