Are you saying the game decides what type of enemy the target will be, and if there's not another enemy of the right type around once a target is killed, the game switches to another enemy type for the next target? And for any subsequent targets?
Here you go.
Thanks for the link, and to the rest of you for helpful comments. Going in a little bit wiser next time (I think)

Nuking on wave 11 isn't frowned upon, pay no attention to these silly crybabies. They cry about everything being OP. They complain that everything is a crutch. They complain about people using missiles. The best thing to do is to completely ignore their complaints and take the exact opposite of everything they tell you. Do with your missiles as you please.
Personally, I use missiles to nuke certain waves on platinum (e.g. wave 9 geth, waves 4 and 8 collectors, wave 8 reapers, etc). This speeds up games and makes short work of those particularly tough waves. If you're playing with good players, you don't need to use missiles on non-objective waves, but if you do, it will make the game easier and quicker. I use missiles to take out targets on objective waves or to clear hack zones or escort paths. If I have any missiles left on wave 11, I always fire them off. Don't let anyone dictate to you what you can and can't do. It's just a game, do what you like. What's wrong with wanting to climb the scoreboard by firing missiles on wave 11? Is that really such a terrible thing?
You should formulate your own views rather than asking for opinions from crybabies. They're too emotional to handle wave 11 nuking.
I did suspect the whining could be overlooked, but I'm also just looking for general tips on how to sensibly use missiles. Thanks anyway (;
Most whining can be overlooked, you are right about that. However, it's also a good rule of thumb to ignore anything XFG posts here as it consists almost entirely of flamebait, trolling and stupididty.
Anyway, judging by your opening post I'd say you're already using missiles well.

I save all my missiles for wave 11 and then spawn nuke everything.

How else should people realize that you know how to play this game? N7 = skillz!

I recently hit 250 games and have much yet to learn.
So far I've used missiles mostly to facilitate objectives, save squaddies about to be sync-killed by Banshees, wipe out a spawn of troublesome enemies near the LZ on wave 11, and to take out enemies dangerous at range during the last seconds before extraction.
You describe yourself as a relatively new player but that's an excellent list of situations to use missiles... sounds like you'd be an asset to any squad!

So you're saying that my posts never contain flamebait, trolling or stupidity. Thank you

I'm taking the exact opposite of what you're saying. Hostility, jealousy and stupidity are clouding your thoughts and affecting your responses.

I was too outspoken, my views were deemed too controversial, and I'm allergic to BS, so no.

Exactly. I'm glad at least one person here sees sense. Why is it so hard for people to grasp such a simple fact?
