So, my 360 died a few weeks back and as I was out of warranty, I stumped up and bought an Elite. I switched the hard drives (haven't got the cable yet) but when I go to play Mass Effect (offline) it says that it can't access the 2 DLC packs (BDTS and PS). It tells me to delete them and re-download them.

I tried it online this morning and it was fine and straight after I tried it offline again - no luck.

I cannot play online for any dedicated time as it involves moving everything.

Anyway - my question is: Would deleting and re-downloading the packs screw up my save games? And would the re-download allow me to access them whilst offline.

Speedy help would be appreciated!

I redownloaded BDtS without deleting it when it said it couldn't access it, didn't mess up my games at all.

You need to re-sink your hard drive with your new Xbox. I hade the same problem when I got the RROD. Just go to the Xbox web site and there whould be some info on how to do it.

Here's the link to the license transer if you wanna do that. Its pretty simple and quick so if you would like to play your old data offline it sure would help.

Yeah I just went onto marketplace, hit 'download again' for both packs and no change.

Looks like it is the license stuff...

Yep, I'm now going through everything and re-downloading all the licenses. You have to do them individually - this is gonna take a while!

The good thing is - it's console specific, not hard drive specific so even when I transfer my stuff over to the 120, it should all still be fine.

Cheers for the help guys!
