Okay, you do realize you people are having a rational discussion with txgoldrush about ME3 having *any* flaws...right? This is the same individual who thinks that CH bleeps gold? Or that ME3 is the gold standard of perfection in his eyes (and therefor the worlds)?

One thing I think they should've foreshadowed with the Crucible

Yeah, that was one of the big problems I had with the crucible as well. It's hard to maintain any suspension of disbelief with the DEM when no-one can make their minds up what they believe it is once and for all.
What I found worse was we were building it the whole time, but we had no clue how it worked *exactly*, what it did *exactly* or anything beyond.. it's a big "something" that does lots of "something" that'll so "something" to the Reapers "sometime" when we connect it to "something". But let's keep building our "something".
Sure, we're getting desperate, but I didn't know we were at the stupid desperate level of doing things because there's a 'definite possibility that it might somehow work the way we hope it does but we're not really sure, however we do have a slight chance of a minor single digit percentile that it will' stage.
Of course, it seems I was wrong...very wrong.

not to mention that it connected perfectly with the Citadel control tower or whatever it is called even though it was revealed that the Citadel is the Catalyst long after the Crucible was finished

from what we are told
the crucible, is a weapon that uses massive amounts of energy, at first it didn't have enough power, so they decided to use the mass relay network, at least that is what the proth VI said
also the citadel arm controls anyone?
different place in ME1 and ME3

Well do you think the reapers would have put only ONE panel in that controls the arms? What if it broke? I mean come on, not even the Leviathans were that stupid.... oh wait!
And another thing about the Vendetta VI: It was programmed NOT TO TELL YOU about the catalyst until AFTER you finished building the Crucible. Of course it doesn't tell you this until after The Illusive Man hacked its security protocols. I don't think we would have hacked its security protocols though because we're the good guys. Only the bad guys hack the security protocols of stuff they need. We would have gotten it on board the Normandy and it would have been in the shuttle bay. There would have been a hull breech, and Kai Leng and his phantoms would have shown up with some Cerberus Drones and stolen it from us while we were waiting for the Crucible to be completed. Trust me, I know these things.

I thought that the "DEM" device for ME3 was going to be the mass accelerator weapon found on Klendagon back in ME2 (and foreshadowed in ME1). What the hell happened to it? We may never know.

Chekhov's gun which didn't shoot, the same as with the dark energy plot.
