I love the Merc. I've played him more than the other Volus combined. He won't top the scoreboard with a competent team, but he easily holds his own. PPR with Incendiary IV and combat drone with chain lightning for stun and sets off fire explosions when it explodes. You never get shot at if you mind your cover and cloak whenever you can. I barely have to shield boost with him. Mostly I use it in hack objectives, or on teammates getting devices.
