That is the main issue I have with it as well.
It sounds like someone took a fantasy plot that would belong in another setting, and it forced into LOTR, just because LOTR comes with an already established fandom.
Anti-heroes might be all the rage in modern fiction, but they have no place at all in Middle Earth.
Of those, Turin is the only one I'd call an antihero. I wouldn't call Feanor any sort of hero.LegendaryAvenger wrote...

The term "Antihero" has significantly broadened since it was first created. There are more variants aside from the gritty 90s avenger type, which Talion seems to be.
