I ain't gonna trust any of those "reviewer" sites that get early access. They've lied in the past, they lied this year (destiny), and then they've pulled the rug out from under folks after they drop the cash for the game.

Nu-uh. Not again. I'm waiting for someone like Angry Joe to review the game, see if its good or not, with actual footage to back up the claims, before I even think of sending cash this games way.

Even then, it'll probably be bought a couple months later when some cool dlc gets dropped and the price becomes reasonable. Here's hoping it won't be another dropped ball.

Destiny got pretty bad reviews. This game's gotten great reviews from some trustworthy reviewers, too.

I remember seeing nothing but a hype train rolling out for Destiny. Until it actually hit stores and people dropped the cash for it. And only then did the bad reviews start rolling in. From all the early access site folks.

What I really want to see is the Nemesis system in action - I feel I need to see whether it's actually just a neat idea that doesn't evolve beyond being a gimmick, or whether it actually makes the game feel dynamic and alive.

I think that's to be expected -- Aside from that I don't see much value in the game since I can find similar, and more fun gameplay in the Arkham Games, anyway.

Whenever it goes on sale and I've run out of old games to play I can probably consider it.

With Skyrim I started watching a vid of the gameplay pre-release and got as far as Whiterun before I could switch it off.

 

Oh go on, just 15 minutes - we wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious gameplay vid. They stole it from us. Sneaky Monolith. Wicked, tricksy, false!

Still debating whether to preorder it for PC.

 

With no PC reviews yet due to them not giving out codes, you have to think somethings wrong.

 

But at the same time, it looks fun, and i watched a 3 hour twitch steam with the devs the other week which was great.

 

Its also the usualy UK price at £29.99 digital, unlike some new games and DA:Inquisition which are for some odd reason £49.99 digital.

With everything said so far... it is looking pretty good.

 

Fortunately I don't have access to a console of any sort for a whiles yet... so I can easily resist the temptation of getting it until we know for certain.

I'm trying to like this game but just can't get into the protagonist, I had the same problem with the Witcher. I'm probably going to give it a pass unless it's the best game evur, I really wish it had a character creator.

Same. Don't really care about the LotR flavour, I'm in it all for Nemesis system (and then mostly the part where everybody and your mom has a level and can level up )
