As the title says. Are you using this kinda bulids & loadouts?
What characters get the most of it, besides the Huntress or Talon?
In what circumstances having 0, 3 or even 6 points in fitness is meaningless in your opinion?
Was it hard for you to get the hang of it? I mean sacrificing survivabilty for DPS.

I'm sure some of the following posters will tell you that;

A) Fitness is a crutch
B) Cyclonic's are a crutch
C) GI

It's BSN after all.

I have already done this one time in platinum, but it was for a special challenge with my friends (4 talon mercenaries in glacier, all without fitness and with power amp 4). We nuked spawns so quickly that ennemies couldn't reach us.

But I would not recommend that generally. Since the game is not time limited and I don't care about scores, I often choose survivability over dps, especially for platinum games.

In gold, I never use cyclonics. Full fitness + shield booster or stronghold package and a lot of dodges is enough to keep me alive with squishy kits.

I skip fitness on a lot of low base shield characters. They are better off with dodge and playing aware.
Human Engies e.g.
I'd skip on Drell, too but I want the speed, not the shields.

Only on a few kits, since I'm not good enough to do it on every class.

Zero fitness Volus Merc with a Spitfire x, no cyclonics. Must use biotic amp and warp ammo, with no stability mods.

Because crutches are a crutch

This.

I rarely skip fitness or only put 3 points in it (only for the Huntress and Geth Trooper).

Warp ammo is a crutch. True Spectres use only Explosive Ammo IV.

im running my ACA with a 66660 build and a power amp and he's doing just fine on platinum
one generall advice i can give is that a geth scanner grants more survivability than any shields. so if im low on cyclonics i use the GS

i play most classes as glass cannons and only spec fitness if there are no better options, i'm doing a meelee build, or it gives benefits besides shields/melee (drell/collector/ect)

I've always had points in fitness, but I guess it's just a habit now. But with relatively weak classes like the asari huntress with 4 points in fitness, I'm more than happy to take a power amp instead of cyclonics and I do well on platinum. It's kind of the same when you play drell. Squishy kits in terms of shields and health actually have more survivability sometimes because they can dodge much better.

I don't have the several hundred Cyclonic IIIs to spare for EVERY match (I've got about 8 and use them selectively on specific kits).  I'd love to be able to spec out of fitness for better power usage and such, but I don't think I'm at that level yet.

It's fine on kits that just play the gate system... Even moreso on Platinum. Just gotta watch out for and prioritize guys with machine guns.

Zero fitness works for me with Volus, Collector, Asari (Shield Power Cells is more important)... Pretty much anyone where max fitness would grant you 825 shields.

I usually put 3-4 ranks though... A lot of times rank 6 passives isn't worth it bc you can get weapon damage from so many other sources. Gear, amps and ammo can afford up to 95% more weapon damage... 165% on biotic kits with Warp ammo.

I run one of my regular human sentinels with 0 Fitness on gold/plat with Tech Armour specced for power damage and recharge. Works well enough on gold/platinum ... just have to watch out for Collector Captains or Marauder mobs.

I run my TSen without fitness.
The 40% dmg resistance may not make up for it completely, but it sure helps.
I do this on Gold, with a PAM.
On Plat, I would use Cyclonics.

I was running a no-fitness Huntress the other day on Platinum. It was serviceable, but DOT effects seemed to be taking me down more often than I liked.

Yes, I do that on loads of classes. FQE, MQE, Volus engi, HI... And I'd do that on many others that I usually don't play.

Was it hard to adapt to that? No. I spend the bulk of my ME3 hourslaying mostly Drell, so I was already used to have 3 hitpoints, the gates. What was harder was getting used to the normal speed of the characters, instead... xD

One of my two Novaguard builds

I've only just started trying no fitness/cyclonic builds.

Trying.

I've run it on the AA & Human Adept but that's all so far. Eventually I'll do more; having stronger power & weapon damage should help me kill stuff before it kills me, but it doesn't always work out that way...
