I don't like the fact that you cant tell how much more damage your doing to an enemy. and I don't like that you cant really notice that your making any difference to armoured targets
Eh? What do you mean?
... You're kidding, right? You must be.
Well, it's not exactly mine, but I guess this can work too, right?

No worries. I'd advise you against using a Lancer though. The vid was recorded as soon as it came out, and Feneckus was not aware of many mechanics probably, or just wanted to try it out, as right now a CSMG X is flat out better, as far as automatic weapons go.
If you, like me, prefer shotguns on her... Then you'll already have your favourite, I'm sure

There are only three things that Cryo Blast has over Snap Freeze: its range is unlimited, it has a short cooldown, and it has a universal debuff for more damage output.
Other than that, I really can't see myself using the FQE over the Paladin.

the claymore was excellent, but it was overpowering the mooks and therefore I couldn't get FEs to damage surrounding enemies, cooldown was a bit too slow for me too. 200% FTW!Deerber wrote...

SF can freeze three at a time and has a larger radius. From what I've noticed, it freezes groups of enemies more consistantly with a range of 15m compared to a 2m radius for Cryo Blast.

You forgot that it doesn't completely destroy team synergy.

SF can only completely freeze one enemy at a time, while cryo blasst has no such limitations.

I think that cryo blast should prime armor, along with health, it's not like cryo explosions are that powerful, but it would help the FQE deal AOE around bosses,
Use incendiary ammo. Cryo blast ->shoot->incinerate=massive damage and fire explision. AOE around boss problem solved.

I thought CB only affects two targets at most... am I mistaken?

Cryo Blast is awesome as it is. The debuff is very noticeable for me and THS, QFE and HI are great too. And it's fun combined with an AJA. Cryo Blast<Pull<Reave BE a frozen spinning mook in the air with BE and Cryo sound, it's beautiful.
Hail stones ?

Yeah it might be, sorry. Posted at 2am. What I meant to say is that it doesn't have the cap at 1 target;)

I think it would be a more balanced snap freeze and I like it.. you would have to at least put your cursor near the enemy rather than spam through walls in an AoE...

Is it like stasis doing 25 damage on contact?
#73
Posté 14 novembre 2013 - 10:06
That is counter-productive to Human Infiltrator's Cloak, which enhances sniper damage.
Unless you're like Uh Cold and can quicknoscope with the Black Widow all day long. Then the Human Infiltrator becomes one of your best Infiltrators (and hence, best characters overall).

It doesn't do damage so it's not the cryo blast impact. Sometimes, DoTs in this game (like Incendiary ammo, Dark Channel) will do the heavy lifting and actually 'kill' the enemy but for whatever reason the last power to hit the enemy before the dot finishes the kill will show as the finishing blow in the kill feed. At least that's the best I can explain it from my experience.. not the same as all of the Incendiary ammo damage glitches.. but similar.ROBOTICSUPERMAN wrote...

Uhm, I rather think that CB has a very very small DoT associated to it. Barely noticeable, but if the enemy is almost dead it can deal the killing blow. I've seen Banshees and Praetorians being slayed by it.
