It doesn't do damage so it's not the cryo blast impact. Sometimes, DoTs in this game (like Incendiary ammo, Dark Channel) will do the heavy lifting and actually 'kill' the enemy but for whatever reason the last power to hit the enemy before the dot finishes the kill will show as the finishing blow in the kill feed. At least that's the best I can explain it from my experience.. not the same as all of the Incendiary ammo damage glitches.. but similar.

Uhm, I rather think that CB has a very very small DoT associated to it. Barely noticeable, but if the enemy is almost dead it can deal the killing blow. I've seen Banshees and Praetorians being slayed by it.

If it dealt any damage at all would it not kill a swarmer? 

*edit* Like I said, that was just the best I could describe it. There have been many instances where I know the killfeed showed something as the killing blow that just wasn't.. and not always when there was a DoT in effect. I might be able to find an example of this in one of my videos; not exactly what I described but the killfeed being blatantly wrong.

CB does kill swarmers. It just takes some time XD That should tell you how little is the DoT.

However, we both agree that this game does weird things at times, and the video you sent me is a clear example. I guess it's just a mixture of both things resulting in all those CB kills

Lol it takes something like 20 secs to kill a swarmer with it.


... You sure you wanna rely on it as a damage source?

IIRC every power does a small amount of direct damage when it's cast -- 50 points or something. This is also why you'll see the occasional Stasis or Tac Scan kill.

It's not direct damage for CB, and it's definitely not 50 damage. As I said, it takes tens of seconds to kill a swarmer.

Well the dot would be buffed by cryo blast itself right?
