"motion" is relative.. besides shep's bod was recovered from that planet/system, it was never explained if it were ON that planet. I never seen any data on it myself tho..

Do you believe that at the last second someone scouped up Shepard's body just before impact? Because we clearly see them enter the atmosphere.

As far as Mr. Hulk goes I'll stick with my initial statements on his article from way back when. Long story short he doesn't know what he's talking about.

The second thread is funnier imo, mainly since BlueProtoss puts in an appearance.

Protoss was a god among men.

Don't know why you guys love looking for fallacies so much. If your opponent doesn't make a logical statement, it doesn't really matter how it is illogical, it defaults to being either false or irrelevant anyway.

As far as dividing people into "camps" regarding their view on the ending, I'd say this piece does it as well as any (I suppose I'd fall into the 3rd and 4th camps on it's classification scheme), but truth be told, I haven't seriously thought about the ending in months, so I'll just leave it there.

Yep i'd fall into the 3rd & 4th camps as to why i view the ME3 ending as a complete & utter trainwreck.

His space opera comment is off, I definitely agree there, though the softness of Mass Effect's science-fiction doesn't seem so soft when you compare it to other space operas like, say, Farscape.

Having never watched Farscape, I wouldn't be able to say, but I didn't see if the author said that he played the previous two titles.  ME3 did turn into a bit of a space-fantasy.

It was straight up fantasy with Shepard the warrior messiah

Both ME2 and ME3 where space-fantasy. They turned into a poor mans Star Wars, without any charm.

idk...some of those renegade interrupts have a charm all their own

I'm still upset there wasn't even a single "Ah yes 'Reapers'." renegade interrupt.

I mean come on! That's the only reason my renedouche saved the council :(

In Me2 you can return to Alchera and find Shepard's helmet - do you think that the friendly Blue Suns made sure to place it near the crashed ship after recovering Shepard's corpse from orbit?

First of all, that helmet would have to been another helmet anyway.

Secondly, we should really assume Shepard picking stuff up off the ground like so semi-canonical or noncanonical. Considering how there's really no explanation for thermal clips littering uncharted worlds and ancient ruins and such.
