It's been said a million times, there's not enough moderation here.
And projects? You know how hard it is to find things? If you allow DA2 and Mass Effect mods to be added to categories under DA:O, it's logically going to turn into a giant messy furball.
You either don't allow it from the get-go, or you create sub-categories so the game-mods are split up. Now we're forced to attach things to groups to be able to keep it orderly and guess what? They're all being frozen, great job.

This is all about not having made any choices for far too long and the site has suffered for it, now making the wrong ones in trying to radically fix things.

I have no reason to be here anymore, my subforums were closed, the groupfunctionality was lacking, now also soon gone and you're taking away my ability to use this as my main modding hub.

Whelp...time to make sure I backed up all my silly blog spots. Too bad our mod for a BW game, can't be posted as a project here.

It's funny....this is the third site in a relatively short period of time, to remove features I was rather attached to.

When you take out all the stuff the people actually care about and do for fun on this social network( polls,projects,albums), what is left? A sorry, restrained, boring, limp social network that focuses solely on games. Well everybody on this social network plays video games, in fact lots are members of this social network to do what all social networks do: Its people interact with each other and TALK TO EACH OTHER LIKE HUMAN BEINGS DO!!!! Why take the fun out of something meant to be fun if its supposed to be fun? You are supposed to listen to you fan base much better than this. Well you are losing support by the minute.....

What feedback did you guys get? Was there a survey that I apparently missed? Or did you ask Todd down in accounting, who eats lead paint chips for lunch, what he thought about blogs, albums, projects, and polls? A lot of the statistics you guys have been showing us about this site and your games I'm beginning to wonder if you are just pulling them out of your asses.

Why phased out projects? Your fans have spent thousands of hours creating content to improve your games and increases their longevity. And you are throwing them away? This is the only place where all this content is archived. Are there plans to have some kind of spiritual successor to projects? And of course, people don't visit those pages very moment of everyday. How many times a day do you reinstall your games and have to redownload all your mods? The only thing you will achieve with this sending us elsewhere.

I get that this site is broke; groups don't work like they should and projects are a hot mess. THAT is what I have seen people complain about. So you answer is to white wash the whole damn site and start new? Nevermind the blood, sweat, and tears your fans have thrown into this site.

Achieve the old projects; better yet have one of your moderators shift through them and organize them by what game they are from. They don't really police the threads anyways, I'm sure they have lots of time on their hands.

This is a video game website to promote video games made by BioWare. To have lengthy discussions about ponys or what is your favorite album or whatever serves no purpose and has become a breeding ground of nastiness (just look at the name calling and comments in teh posts at the top of this page alone).

I know that when I left BioWare they were planning some major changes to the BSN. I hope they follow through with the, The changes Jessica mentions seem like the first step.

This is more than a video game website. The sooner people realize that, the better.

I do not understand how on god's brown earth people can talk about the same video games over and over again. Just about every angle of ME and DA has been covered.

We all come here with something in common. Which are Bioware games for the most part, but most of all, we're all gamers. And sometime down the line of getting to know each other, we discover that we have other common interests like music, shows, movies, books, professions. The list goes on.

Thus severing all ties to pretty much everything and just having posts about gaming & gaming only is unambiguously foolish.

Bioware was already crumbling and it has a chance to be something again, but now it's just going to crash and burn.

Congratulations.
