I've used all the things they said they're removing but I won't lose sleep if they're gone, no. But even for those who would, all the cries that they just need to "come clean" I really think are a little crass and premature at best. I don't know the full extent of the changes yet but it must be because bioware is cheap, lazy and/or hate certain sectors of the site, is what it says. You really don't have the grounds to make that claim IMO.

Notice you don't have any Projects on your account.

Played this the other day.

Andy amputated Beatrice's leg and she bled to death; it's already happened by the time the PC arrives.

It is though, this thread has been open for a day and it only has 21 pages. If a thread about gender politics or playersexuality stayed open that long it would have at least 60 pages.

Of course. When EAware says they are dedicated to the things that make the BSN a great place w/ lots of intelligent discussion and whatnot, they're talking about the bolded sentence.

Yes, I agree, it has weight.  Being the statistician/scientist that I am, but I'm not convinced that the method is entirely sound.  Random polls in places like gaming sites (and websites in general) are notoriously unreliable.  But it seems across gaming sites the results are similar in regard to the ending, that can't be discounted as part of a general consensus.

edit: just wanted to add there are several kinds of bias these sorts of polls can have, but I won't bore you!

If you're a statistician or a scientist then the first thing you should be doing is dismissing nonrepresentative, non random sampling with these sorts of questions as completely junk.

Self-selection bias? Errors in the question wording? None of that rings alarm bells?
