EDIT: Oh, sorry. He gets replaced by some "Padok Wiks" salarian STG scientist.

Yeah OP, he's replaced by Padok.
Who I actually enjoy more than ME3 Mordin. Especially since his voice actor was replaced.
There is no difference mechanically, except with Mordin you can convince him to walk away if Wreav is leader (I think you need Mordin's Loyalty - not a fresh ME3 game? Can't remember the details.), but Padok simply has to die.

You can get Padok to walk away too.
@ OP, if you don't do Mordin's loyalty mission and let him die, the Genophage data is treated as destroyed and Eve dies, allowing you to convince Padok to sabotage the cure.

Interesting! I looked it up and you're right.
This makes it look like Mordin is only important for story, not narrative mechanic purposes, unlike Legion.

You need both Wrex and Eve dead to convince Mordin/Pasok to walk away.

Not doing the loyalty mission means Maelon's genophage data is not recovered. Eve dies as a result

I also want to affirm the love for Padok Wiks. He's an awesome character and a very believable 'dork'.
