What Happens in ME3 if you ignored Moridins Loyalty Mission, and he died.

EDIT: Oh, sorry. He gets replaced by some "Padok Wiks" salarian STG scientist.

lol

Yeah OP, he's replaced by Padok.

Who I actually enjoy more than ME3 Mordin. Especially since his voice actor was replaced. :crying:

There is no difference mechanically, except with Mordin you can convince him to walk away if Wreav is leader (I think you need Mordin's Loyalty - not a fresh ME3 game? Can't remember the details.), but Padok simply has to die.

You can get Padok to walk away too.

@ OP, if you don't do Mordin's loyalty mission and let him die, the Genophage data is treated as destroyed and Eve dies, allowing you to convince Padok to sabotage the cure.

Just want to chime in on how awesome Padok is as a character. I still like Mordin more, but was pleasantly surprised on that one playthrough where he died.

Interesting! I looked it up and you're right.

This makes it look like Mordin is only important for story, not narrative mechanic purposes, unlike Legion.

Hrm… Thats what I thought. just ran through the Cure mission with Mordin alive and Loyal. I was just wondering if the cure wouldn't be possible with out either him or the data.

Cheers Thanks.

Not doing the loyalty mission means Maelon's genophage data is not recovered. Eve dies as a result

You need both Wrex and Eve dead to convince Mordin/Pasok to walk away.

So overall, the outlook is a little bit worse if you decide to cure the genophage (sorry, but believing that one person will have that big of an impact is incredibly naive; doubly so since there is a massive war going on where anyone could die at any moment)

Not doing Mordin's loyalty mission depends on whether or not you get to save the cure data; if you don't, Eve dies. Although, if you don't do his mission, Wrex won't be angry at you like he is for doing the mission and destroying the data since he knows you had nothing to do with it.

I also want to affirm the love for Padok Wiks. He's an awesome character and a very believable 'dork'.
