You misunderstand. When someone calls you a mother-******, they don't actually think you're someone's mother.
Mistaken for female gamer or vice versa?

Don't worry, you'd be a great mother, except for the whole homicidal thing.

His response was, "You had the Warlord. Anyone who plays the Warlord gets grabbed every wave."
"I don't. I haven't gotten grabbed for dozens of matches now. And I carried them."
"Cause you're a bronze scrub."
"Check my trophy points." I gave him a reasonable amount of time to check it.
"You hacked."
"Considering how I don't even know how to hack, that's incorrect."
"Yeah, well... Shut up." He voted to kick me and we kicked him. Serves him right.

I'm a girl, and the name I use for Origin sounds feminine enough (I won't type it here, I have enough strangers on my friends list for now). But if you were to change your Origin name to something like... say... "IAMHAIRYMAN" and played the Asari Adept then maybe that would help discourage any males with an insurmountable desire to speak to or be friend with a girl they probably will never know, nor see anyway in their life.

Maybe the name plays some role in that too.

Seriously, I use my mic all the time and the worst I have is a odd friend request that I usually don't accept. If sometimes I do, it can lead to awkward conversations where I'm asked where I'm from, my real name, my picture and/or my FB.
Funny stories?
- A friend of a friend once joined the lobby and was super happy to hear me: "Wow!!! you're really a girl? It's the first time I meet a girl in this game!!!" Turns out he knew a friend of mine who uses her mic and has a gorgeous voice. So yeah he had to buy new ears.
- This guy telling me his real name, then asking me mine. I refused. He apologized if he offended and as I didn't reply for a while, he started telling me about the fact that his fiancée being pregnant made him confused, happy and also angry. Wat?

Winner!
I did have Krogan follow my Asari around Glacier spouting "O blue rose of Ilium" until I left, but except for the "Halp me, Lady!" guy most ME3 MP players I've run into are pretty chill about having a female in their match.
Your voice is gorgeous and your French accent is awesome, so I can see why guys would want to get to know you IRL!

First match on PC, was playing with Deerber, wng and a pug. I was using my mic. I have a small voice and I'm a girl. When I revived that pug he said "I love you Pandaaaaaaaa". I muted my mic after that. Pug even sent me a FR >_>
