I just replaced my dead hd5870 with a 290x, only to be welcomed by this horror: KOTOR glitches.

as you can see, it looks a lot like a glitch that used to be preset in AMD drivers like 6-7 years ago. disabling the grass doesn't work, because lightsabers keep becoming invisible during fights.

Is there anything I can do? perhaps a replacement dll to play opengl games in software rendering?
