However harsh Darth_Trethon may come across, I can't say that I disagree with him. For every person that wants instant gratification, there's a person that doesn't want it. For every person that finds the armour worthless without said instant gratification, there's a person that finds it worthless with. Simply put; BW cannot please everyone, so have instead, gone the route of balance.
You have to remember, this isn't like DAO where stats limit your armour usage. If they decide to plonk weapons and armour into your inventory when you load the game, you'll be able to use them from level 1. Chances are, they did not take this into account with level design. Then again, why should they?
On that note, how big is your HDD? I'm doubting it's any less than 120gb, and at worse, 60...sounds to me as if you're being a tad on the petty side when you talk about "saving that 3mb" for something allegedly more useful, considering you want the armour badly enough to be able to use it from level 1...
I dont have a HDD...Because I've heard horror stories as to how they have ruined Xboxes so I have the base "arcade" console which has lasted nearly 2 years so far (knock on wood). And to confirm my concerns...I have a story:
I went out and bought a HDD (believe it was 20G if I remember right) and put it into my Xbox and all seemed fine with the world because I wanted to play Shivering Isles (Oblvion expansion). Well, a week into playing, I finish it up and decided that ok...This doesnt need to be on there any more so I deleted it and sold the game back to Gamestop. Well, a week after that, my Xbox started acting wierd...Whenever I would turn it on in the morning and plop a disc in, it wouldnt read it...at all...It would take me upwards of up to 20-30 minutes at times to get the disc to read. Long story short, after many trouble shooting techniques I came across some chatter on the net about how the HDD were actually destroying some Xboxes...How true this was however, was irrelevant because I immediately became paranoid and decided it might be time to take out the sodding HDD.
Well, I take it out and SHAZAM!!!...I havent had a problem since and it's been 6 months since this little "fiasco". So, because of this, Ill never purchase another HDD again...The End
