Tbh, the only game that I am actually worried about is SWtOR, purely because even though this is Bioware we're talking about; the number of things that can go wrong with a new-release MMO... *wince*

Riveting tale, sibling.
Every review so far has been 9/10 or 10/10, so if you're still worries I suggest a swift trip to the gas chamber.

Im simply expressing concerns that may or may not be valid. I did not once in my original post or any there after name call, call out anyone, or attempt to tarnish the good name this is both Bioware or the Mass Effect series. Like I said, Im simply expressing my concern before even playing the game.
With that said, I do ask that even though you may feel strongly about what I have written, that you atleast try to keep your comment civil for the sake of the board. Thank you.
To be fair, we punish unattentiveness pretty harshly on these boards, and all concerns in your post have previously been adressed, so people just take it as incoherent rambling, or uninformed idiocy.
Seriously, there is an improved Make in ME2 called the Hammerhead, available free after the release of ME2 via the Cerberus Network DLC card that comes with every new copy of ME2, and every review really has got 9/10 or 10/10.

I think all the building blocks are in place to make it what it should be and the game does show huge potential. Time will tell of course.

If you mean % wise of the entire game is there less RPG stuff yes...
But i believe all they did was add more action and not reduce and of the RPG stuff. They only changed it.

This may be the first game that Bioware releases that I will actually wait for a review on before going out to buy it. I played the original mass effect and I did enjoy it, but it had it's obvious flaws that I'm not sure were addressed. It just seems like this 'series' is Bioware's experiment into making first person shooters than anything else. Yes, the rpg elements are still there, but why would the best rpg developer on earth decide to introduce more action and shooting into what is by all means an rpg?
The thing that really hits home with me is the fact that the makko (or however you spell it) is gone. There is also a recent review (posted on these forums) by a german site stating that exploration as a whole has been 'dumbed down' significantly. Now, by no means was exploring the same layouts over and over again fun in me1, and that was certainely an issue that needed to be corrected, but I honestly dont think that stripping that part of the game away completely because you're too lazy to put in the time to do it right is the correct action here. I dont know if its just them being lazy or an unforseen new ally to bioware thats now putting more pressure on releasing half finished games, but this is not the direction the series needs to be going and this is not bioware. It just seems funny that you had the time to work on 'free' DLC but not a working travel vehicle to let us explore and thats just it. Most of us WANT TO EXPLORE.
Bioware you said that you read fan feedback and obviously the elevator music has effectively been 'nerfed' (was op to begin with, trufax), but turning this series into a consoles gamer's 'LOLBASHHEADOFFCONTROLLER' chucky cheese attraction couldnt possibly be the way to move forward. You're trying to satisfy two genres that are completely different from one another and I honestly think that it will be the ultimate downfall to this series. Some of us dont like to constantly lolshootcrapforhoursonend just like some people dont like to explore and like to rush through story with the 'lolmashAbuttonskipdialoguecommand'.
With that said im HOPING that theres enough content here to satisfy the rpg player. Im hoping I dont beat this game in 9 hours and throw it out the window where it can sit in my front lawn with diddy kong racing. Honestly, I have so much more points to make but I doubt anyone really cares to hear them and frankly im sick of typing. Ill still probably buy the game on release day like ive been doing with every other release from bioware. Im going on the reputation and my experience in the past. I do think though that if bioware will ever let me down that this will be it.

Yes, but the exploration can hardly be looked at as a crucial, vital or in-depth part of ME2 when the bloody thing isn't even in the base game.
