Doesn't seem very worthy of its name as is. Sure it can make mooks turn into chunks of meat but doesn't happen often enough.

Meh...I wouldn't be upset if it did more damage, but I think it does pretty substantial damage the way it is. The way I have the Krogan Soldier specced (4b,5b,6a), it does 1971 damage to armor with a power amp. The way most people spec incinerate (4b, 5a,6b) with a power amp does 1596 damage to armor. I like carnage, and I think it's underrated.

I think it should have a huge shield-skipping impact force, so it's fun to use. Or some stacking debuff.

Right now itt's kinda waste of points.

Yes. It is not really effective by itself as a power in terms of damage. It needs incendiary ammo or inferno grenades for fire explosions.

I would love if it had some sort of small built in chance to auto kill any mook and make them explode. Something around 5% would be wonderful.

Keep in mind that Carnage was designed as a combat ability, which are meant to be supplemental to weapon damage. It does pretty well against armor if you really invest into it, but it's not meant to be your primary attack.

Yeah, but considering that the kits that get it aren't really great in passives, it isn't that good at supplementing weapon damage.

I'd settle for a drastic reduction in cooldown.

Or a drastic increase in projectile speed.

Or both.

I mean, for the damage to be worth the godawful recharge and projectile speed it has, it would have to be completely insane. I'm talking thousands of damage, could oneshot a Marauder kind of insane.

Excellent idea.

IDK but it should have a longer priming window, quicker TT, possibly a small increase in damage.

No. It should have bigger radius though. Where's this "major collateral damage" at?

It needs more radius and more force.

Yeah, something like an AoE stagger whenever it gibbed an enemy.

Or a 50% boost to fire explosions.

I have to admit I've only used carnage to complete the challenge. Never used it after that.

It needs something.  More damage would be the easiest.  I like the idea of a knockdown effect that bypasses shields/barriers too.

Same here.

I remembered this power sucked, but when I gave it a second shot for the challenge, I realzied just how bad it freakin' sucks. I was testing it out and it can't even kill unshielded mooks on Bronze... nevermind that it rarely hits more than one target, contrary to what the description says.

Well that depends how you spec, but the thing you should be noting is that unshielded mooks don't have armor.

I just feel it doesn't live up to its name. Carnage is supposed to be something nasty yet this power feels more like giving out paper cuts.

I loved the ME version of Carnage (shotgun power) where it would blast everything right in front of you for huge damage but it has basically no range. I miss that.

This. Also if you buffed it the Krogan Vanguard would be as OP as the TGI.

In my opinion they shouldn't have made 6A and 6B evo alternatives, swapping 5B with 6A. Then Carnage could've been much more worthy.

So yes, it should be more powerful, considering its slow recharge speed.
