Yeah, but considering that the kits that get it aren't really great in passives, it isn't that good at supplementing weapon damage.Tokenusername wrote...
Keep in mind that Carnage was designed as a combat ability, which are meant to be supplemental to weapon damage. It does pretty well against armor if you really invest into it, but it's not meant to be your primary attack.

Or a drastic increase in projectile speed.
Or both.
I mean, for the damage to be worth the godawful recharge and projectile speed it has, it would have to be completely insane. I'm talking thousands of damage, could oneshot a Marauder kind of insane.

I would love if it had some sort of small built in chance to auto kill any mook and make them explode. Something around 5% would be wonderful.
Excellent idea.

Yeah, something like an AoE stagger whenever it gibbed an enemy.
Or a 50% boost to fire explosions.

Same here.
I remembered this power sucked, but when I gave it a second shot for the challenge, I realzied just how bad it freakin' sucks. I was testing it out and it can't even kill unshielded mooks on Bronze... nevermind that it rarely hits more than one target, contrary to what the description says.

Well that depends how you spec, but the thing you should be noting is that unshielded mooks don't have armor.Bladedrummer wrote...

no.
I just feel it doesn't live up to its name. Carnage is supposed to be something nasty yet this power feels more like giving out paper cuts.
I loved the ME version of Carnage (shotgun power) where it would blast everything right in front of you for huge damage but it has basically no range. I miss that.

This. Also if you buffed it the Krogan Vanguard would be as OP as the TGI.

So yes, it should be more powerful, considering its slow recharge speed.
