First off, it's always polite to say hiya
(And also, my appologies if this doesn't belong here. ; )

Aaaanyways, how exactly do you get your characters to attack on their own?

Normally, I play my own character, and the other's tactics are basically to attack my targets, or targets attacking my mage. But for the tougher fights, I prefer to play aas Wynn, and play as the healer, just to be on the safe side.

Except....my characters wont attack at all then. I have my character set to Enemy>Nearest Visible>Attack and yet, I still have to manually force them to fight. They wont even fight while they're being attacked until I give the order. D:

so....help anyone? please and thank you. ^^

Do you have the hold ground command toggled on or off? (the open hand icon underneath the party portraits) If it's on they wont move to attack. Also in the tactics menu, it is better to select "aggressive" for warriors. If these two things are set right, then your character should be itching to fight. Hope this helps

You should have them at default or aggressive.

And no, they're set to walk freely. As for their tactics...well, they're all set to default. I'll try aggressive. My usual party has 2 wars in it anyway. x3

Also make sure you're only controlling one character, and not the whole party. It took me ages to figure out that if you have them all selected, it overrides their tactics.
